CashToYou Loan App Real or Fake? No Play Store App, Real Lenders
By Anjali Bhargawa · Content Writer Edited by BankCreds Content & SEO Team Updated 30 October 2026 Reviewed by BankCreds Financial Experts CashToYou is a real lending website, but it has no app on Google Play. Its loans come from NBFCs on RBI's register, Mount Shikhar Financial Services Limited and Savantika Vanijya Private Limited. Both name it on their own websites, yet the site asks you to install an APK file instead.
That download is the heart of the problem. The CashToYou download page tells you to disable Google Play Protect to install it, and its loans run just 7 to 28 days. So the one thing to check is where your app comes from. If it isn't an official store, don't install it, and never enter an OTP before reading the full loan terms. We checked all of this on 30 October 2026. People also search for it as "Cash to You", and it's the same service.
Key points
- The lenders are real. Mount Shikhar (serial 4638, New Delhi) and Savantika Vanijya (serial 6584, Guwahati) both appear in RBI's register dated 15 October 2026.
- Both lenders confirm the link. Each one names CashToYou, or its operator, on its own website.
- There is no Play app. We found no listing, and the site's own APK link returned an error page.
- Loans are short and priced by the day. Terms are 7 to 28 days at up to 0.2% a day, with fees left unpublished.
- Our view: a real business with real lenders, but not a safe way to borrow as offered.
Who is behind CashToYou, and which NBFCs lend
The operator is Design Sense Studio Private Limited, which gives a New Delhi address. Its terms call it the "licensed User" of the CashToYou app and website. Its about page calls CashToYou "a multinational finance company" and drops "Studio" from the firm's name.
The lenders page says every loan is approved and sanctioned by NBFCs or banks registered with RBI. Two are named. Mount Shikhar shows the CashToYou site as its DLA partner in the footer of every page. Savantika lists Design Sense Studio as the service provider for the "Cashtoyou" application.
Some ties are closer than usual. The helplines both lenders list for CashToYou loans sit in the same 79650829 number series as CashToYou's own lines. Mount Shikhar's nodal officer even shares a phone number with CashToYou's grievance officer. Archived copies of the site from 2025 and early 2026 also had a hidden footer naming two other firms.
Those firms were Oneclickmoney Techplus Private Limited, as operator, and GSD Trading and Financial Services Private Limited, as lender. Neither appears on the live site. We don't know why the names changed.
No Google Play app: why that matters most
Most mainstream loan apps in India are on Google Play. Google admits personal-loan apps in India only if they're on RBI's Digital Lending Apps list. It also bans personal loans that must be repaid in full within 60 days.
CashToYou can't pass the second rule, because its loans last 7 to 28 days. We searched Play for "cashtoyou", "cash to you" and "cash to you loan" and found nothing. We also tried 15 likely package names, and every one came back as not found.
Instead, the download page says you may need to disable Google Play Protect to install the APK. Play Protect is the Android feature that scans apps for harm. Switching it off for a loan app removes a safety check from your phone. When we tried the official APK link on 30 October 2026, it returned a 404 page.
No Play listing also means no Data safety section, no star rating and no public reviews. You'd be relying on the operator's word alone.
Is CashToYou RBI registered? Checking the lenders
CashToYou isn't an NBFC, so the check is on its two lenders. Here's how to repeat what we did.
- Write down both names exactly: Mount Shikhar Financial Services Limited and Savantika Vanijya Private Limited.
- Look them up in RBI's register of NBFCs. In the edition dated 15 October 2026, Mount Shikhar is serial 4638 under New Delhi and Savantika is serial 6584 under Guwahati. Both are non-deposit-taking, Base layer firms.
- Visit each lender's website. Mount Shikhar names the CashToYou site as its DLA partner. Savantika lists CashToYou on its service provider page.
- Search for both lenders in RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory. The page refused to connect for us, so neither listing is confirmed. With no Play app, there isn't even an indirect sign.
- Check RBI's cancelled list and Sachet. We couldn't read the cancelled list, although both lenders are in the current register. If an offer names a lender you can't match, flag it to RBI through Sachet.
- Ask for the Key Fact Statement (KFS). Mount Shikhar's policy says rates are shown as an APR in the sanction letter and KFS. Don't sign until you've seen it.
Our walk-through of RBI checks for loan apps has more on each list.
What CashToYou charges, and what it leaves out
CashToYou publishes very little about price. This is everything we could find.
Term | Figure | Where published |
|---|---|---|
First loan | ₹1,000 to ₹10,000 | CashToYou FAQ |
Repeat loans | Up to ₹40,000 | CashToYou FAQ |
Tenure | 7 to 28 days, one repayment | CashToYou FAQ |
Interest | 0% to 0.2% a day | CashToYou FAQ |
Overdue interest | 0.2% a day | CashToYou FAQ |
Processing fee | Not published | Loan agreement only |
APR | Not published | Nowhere we looked |
At 0.2% a day, simple interest adds up to 73% a year. We can't give a full rupee example, because the fees aren't published. Neither CashToYou nor its lenders put a sample KFS online.
Savantika's lender-wide policy, which isn't written for CashToYou alone, charges 0.4% to 1% a day on payday loans. It caps bounce charges at ₹590 and sets foreclosure charges at nil.
Two clauses need real care. To extend a loan, the FAQ says you must first pay 50% of the current loan plus charges. The home page also has an OTP consent box. It says approved terms count as yours if you don't send the money back that same day. Entering an OTP can mean agreeing to a loan.
Why people ask if CashToYou is fake
The APK and Play Protect advice is the biggest worry. Other points add to it:
- Promises that changed. In February 2026 the home page offered loans for up to 180 days. The FAQ now says 7 to 28 days.
- Harsh terms. The refund policy warns of legal or even criminal action when a recalled loan isn't paid back in one go. It also says the borrower has "no recourse" against changed terms.
- Calls from anywhere. The terms ask you to accept collection calls from numbers with any prefix, WhatsApp calls, outside agencies and recorded or AI voices.
- Ad-network sharing. The privacy policy says your details may go to advertising networks that aren't linked to CashToYou.
- Two addresses. The site gives a Dwarka address, while both lenders list a Saket address for the same company.
Some things are routine. Aadhaar, PAN, a credit report check and a one-time camera and location check are normal for small loans. Still, we found no RBI caution, Sachet alert, police action or news report about CashToYou or its lenders. The evidence points to a risky product, not a ghost company.
Borrower reviews: why there are none to read
Because CashToYou isn't on Google Play, there's no star rating, download count or store review for us to check. We don't use complaint forums or aggregator sites as sources. So we can't tell you how real borrowers rate it.
We also couldn't see what permissions the app asks for, since the download link was broken. If you meet a CashToYou rating elsewhere, remember there's no official store page behind it.
Fake CashToYou links and APK files
- Any CashToYou APK sent to you on WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS is unverified. The official link itself was broken when we checked, so a working copy could be anything.
- Never turn off Google Play Protect to install a loan app.
- Never pay a fee in advance to get a loan released.
- Repay only from your account page on the official site, by UPI or net banking as CashToYou describes. Don't send money to someone's own UPI ID or bank account.
- CashToYou is not CASHe. It's also unrelated to a Russian loan brand with the same name and to a Swiss app called cashyou.
- Mount Shikhar's fair practice code limits recovery contact to 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Calls outside that window, or any threats, are worth reporting.
If you already have a CashToYou loan
Keep screenshots of your loan screen, agreement and every payment. Then use these contacts in order.
- CashToYou: +91 796 508 2940 or +91 796 508 2941, or care@cashtoyou.in, from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays.
- Grievance officer: call Saman Bilgrami on +91 796 508 2942, or email grievance@cashtoyou.in.
- Your lender: check which NBFC is on your papers. Mount Shikhar's nodal officer is Ashish Kumar Singh, at grievance@mountshikhar.com. For Savantika, contact Rajib Pattajoshi at Grievancesggb@savantika.com or 7965082952.
- RBI: if 30 days pass without a fix, lodge a complaint on cms.rbi.org.in, the RBI Integrated Ombudsman's portal, or ring 14448.
- Cybercrime: for threats, edited photos or fraud, dial 1930.
You may still be inside the cooling-off window. Mount Shikhar promises at least 3 working days, and Savantika's policy gives 3 days from payout. Our CashToYou customer care page lists every number.
Should you borrow from CashToYou?
Only if you can read the full loan agreement first, see the fee and the total repayment, and repay within 28 days. Even then, installing a loan app from outside Google Play is a risk we wouldn't take.
For small sums, a Play-listed app is a safer place to start. Our searches on Google Play in India showed mPokket, Pocketly and True Balance. Read our reviews of Pocketly, True Balance and mPokket, then compare each KFS. Our full CashToYou review covers the lenders and red flags in more depth, and our reviews section covers other small-loan apps.
Frequently asked questions
Is CashToYou real or fake?
CashToYou is a real business run by Design Sense Studio Private Limited. Its two lenders, Mount Shikhar Financial Services and Savantika Vanijya, are RBI-registered NBFCs, and both name it on their websites. But it has no Google Play app, its loans last 7 to 28 days, and its fees aren't published. Real, but high risk.
Is Cash to You RBI registered?
CashToYou itself isn't registered, because it isn't a lender. Its lenders are. In RBI's register dated 15 October 2026, Mount Shikhar is serial 4638 and Savantika Vanijya is serial 6584. We couldn't get RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory to open. So it's unclear whether either lender has reported CashToYou there.
Is CashToYou on Google Play?
No. We searched Google Play in India under three spellings and tried 15 likely package names, with no result. The CashToYou site offers an APK file instead and says you may need to turn off Google Play Protect to install it. On 30 October 2026, that APK link returned a 404 error page.
How much does a CashToYou loan cost?
The FAQ puts a first loan at ₹1,000 to ₹10,000, for 7 to 28 days, at 0% to 0.2% a day. Overdue amounts cost 0.2% a day. No processing fee or APR is published, and no sample KFS is online. Ask for the full agreement and total repayment before entering any OTP.
What is the CashToYou customer care number?
Call +91 796 508 2940 or +91 796 508 2941 between 9 am and 6 pm on weekdays, or email care@cashtoyou.in. Complaints go to Saman Bilgrami, the grievance officer, on +91 796 508 2942 or grievance@cashtoyou.in. CashToYou published these contacts in October 2026, and our care page lists them too.
What should I do about CashToYou recovery calls?
Mount Shikhar's fair practice code says borrowers should only be contacted between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Log every call, then complain in writing to grievance@cashtoyou.in and to your lender's grievance contact. If anyone threatens you, misuses your photos or asks you to pay into a private account, ring 1930.
Can I cancel a CashToYou loan?
You may be able to, if you act fast. Mount Shikhar promises a cooling-off period of at least 3 working days. Savantika's policy gives 3 days from payout. Ask in writing for the exit amount straight away. And keep the OTP clause in mind: holding on to the money past that calendar day counts as saying yes.
