Dhan Pocket App Reviews, Customer Care Number & Details

Web-only salary-advance loans via Pawansut Holdings; 0.5%–1% a day, 7–45 day terms

This Dhan Pocket app review covers interest rates, eligibility, charges, documents and real borrower feedback, along with the verified Dhan Pocket customer care number, WhatsApp channel and support email — plus the RBI grievance route if a complaint is not resolved in 30 days.

Reviewed by BankCreds App Review Team· App Review Analysts Updated 6 October 2026

Dhan Pocket is a website-only salary-advance lender, not a Google Play app, offering salaried borrowers ₹5,000 to ₹1,00,000 for 7 to 45 days. It names Pawansut Holdings Limited, an NBFC on RBI's register, as the lender, but its own calculator charges 0.5% to 1% a day plus a fee of about 10% — nowhere near the 15%–35% APR it prints.

We matched Pawansut's company identity number in RBI's register, as of October 2026. What we could not find is Pawansut acknowledging Dhan Pocket: its website lists no lending apps at all, and RBI's directory of digital lending apps would not load for us. So the lender link rests mostly on Dhan Pocket's word. Read the cost section before you share your PAN.

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 2.5/5

The FAQ promises funds within minutes of approval, but there are no store reviews and we did not borrow, so the claim is untested.

Interest & cost 1.0/5

Daily interest of 0.5% to 1% plus an upfront fee of about 10% and GST makes this one of the costliest forms of credit.

App experience 2.0/5

A browser-only journey with DigiLocker KYC works, but amounts, tenure, age and income limits change from page to page.

Customer support 2.0/5

Phone, support, grievance and nodal emails are published, but no grievance officer is named and two different grievance numbers appear.

Safety & transparency 1.5/5

The named NBFC is on RBI's register, but it does not acknowledge Dhan Pocket, and pricing and registration numbers contradict each other.

Loan Details & Charges

Loan Amount Rs 5,000 – Rs 1,00,000
Interest Rate 0.5% – 1% per day (182.5% – 365% a year); the site also prints an APR of 15% – 35%
Tenure 7 – 45 days (single repayment)
Processing Fee About 10% + 18% GST, deducted upfront (policy allows 10% – 15%)
Late Payment Not quantified. The Interest Rate Policy says 'penal interest applies for delays'; the web app FAQ says a late payment penalty applies and is set out in the loan agreement.
Foreclosure Loan details page: no pre-closure or prepayment charges. Terms & Conditions: 'Early repayment may attract foreclosure charges.' (conflict)
Bounce Charges Not quantified. The policy says 'Additional charges apply for EMI returns, rescheduling, or special services.'

Eligibility Criteria

Age 21-58 years
Min Income Rs 40,000 per month
Employment Salaried (at least 6 months with a recognised organisation); web app form also shows a Self Employed option
Documents PAN, Aadhaar (via DigiLocker), selfie/liveness check, salary slips for the last three months, bank statements (FAQ: last six months) or Account Aggregator consent, proof of employment/income

What It Actually Costs

Loan amount ₹10,000
Tenure 24 days (about 0.8 months)
Monthly EMI ₹11,800 single repayment on day 24 (no EMIs)
Total interest ₹1,800
Processing fee ₹1,000 + ₹180 GST = ₹1,180, deducted upfront
Total repayment ₹11,800

Built from Dhan Pocket's own calculator default (0.75% a day for 24 days, i.e. 273.75% a year simple; its 0.5%–1% range is 182.5%–365% a year) and its own fee example, so the EMI formula does not apply to this one-payment loan. You receive ₹8,820 and repay ₹11,800, so ₹2,980 is the price of ₹8,820 for 24 days, roughly 514% a year.

Try the Dhan Pocket EMI calculator

Pros

  • Names its lender, Pawansut Holdings Limited, and that company is on RBI's NBFC register
  • Publishes a fee example: ₹1,180 comes off a ₹10,000 loan, so you know the cash you will receive
  • Loan details page lists no pre-closure or prepayment charges
  • Separate grievance and nodal officer emails are published on every page
  • Fully online: KYC through DigiLocker and income checks via bank statement or Account Aggregator

Cons

  • Calculator charges 0.5% to 1% a day, far above the 15%–35% APR the site prints
  • Repayment is due in 7 to 45 days, so the whole amount comes due within weeks
  • About 10% fee plus 18% GST is deducted before the money reaches you
  • Not on Google Play, so there are no independent ratings or Data safety disclosures
  • Age, income and loan-amount limits differ from page to page

Our Verdict

Dhan Pocket is expensive, short and hard to pin down. Take the site's own calculator default: ₹10,000 at 0.75% a day for 24 days costs ₹1,800 in interest. Add its sample fee deduction of ₹1,180 and you receive ₹8,820 but owe ₹11,800. Its interest-rate policy allows salary-advance pricing up to 382.5% a year. The 15%–35% APR printed on the same site cannot be true at the same time. The named lender is real and registered, and that matters. But Pawansut's website does not list Dhan Pocket or any other lending app, which RBI's digital lending rules require. It also shows a registration number, N-14.12345, that matches neither the 14.011.3 on dhanpocket.com nor the B-14.01103 in the web app. With no Play listing, there are no independent user reviews to weigh either. Our advice: try regulated lenders listed on Google Play first, where repayment runs longer and lenders must be named. If you still borrow here, get the Key Fact Statement in writing, check the APR and due date on it, and repay on time.

Who Dhan Pocket suits

Salaried borrowers who need a small sum for a few weeks and have been turned down by Play-listed lenders
Someone certain they can repay the full amount, interest included, on the next salary date
Borrowers willing to read the Key Fact Statement and compare its APR before accepting

Look elsewhere if

You need more than a few weeks to repay, or want EMIs instead of one lump sum
You want a lender whose app is on Google Play and whose website lists its lending apps
You earn less than ₹35,000 a month or are not salaried

Things to Watch

  • Pricing contradiction: a printed APR of 15%–35% cannot coexist with 0.5%–1% a day, and the company's own policy allows up to 382.5% a year on salary advances.
  • Tenure of 7 to 45 days falls inside Google Play's ban on personal loans repayable in 60 days or less, and Dhan Pocket is not on Play.
  • Pawansut's website does not list Dhan Pocket or any lending app, and shows a registration number (N-14.12345) unlike the B-14.01103 in Dhan Pocket's web app.
  • The Interest Rate Policy says penal interest applies for delays, a form RBI's penal-charges rules bar; late fees are not quantified anywhere.
  • We could not confirm Dhan Pocket in RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory, which would not load for us.

What Real Users Say

The homepage claims a 4.8 rating and 500k+ active users without saying where the rating comes from; with no store listing, neither figure can be checked.

Dhan Pocket has no Google Play listing, so there are no dated public store reviews to read, and we found no reports in established news outlets as of October 2026.

What users love

Nothing independent. The site's own testimonials praise a quick, hassle-free process, but the same sentence appears under two different customer names.

Common complaints

No dated user complaints were available to us. The site itself warns that fraudsters are impersonating its staff to collect payments, so pay only through dhanpocket.com.

How Dhan Pocket Compares

vs mPokket — Also built for small, short-notice needs, but it is listed on Google Play, whose rules bar personal loans repayable in 60 days or less.

vs True Balance — Serves a similar small-ticket borrower through a Play-listed app, so its lender disclosure and repayment terms face Google's checks.

vs KreditBee — A larger, Play-listed lender that names its NBFC partners and repays in EMIs rather than one payment within weeks.

How we tested

On 6 and 7 October 2026 we rendered every page of dhanpocket.com and its web app, read Pawansut Holdings' and Fintech Cloud's websites, searched Google Play, and checked RBI's NBFC register (as on June 30, 2026) and cancelled-registration list by company name and CIN. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory would not load from our systems, so Dhan Pocket's listing there is unconfirmed. We did not take a loan, so disbursal speed and recovery conduct are untested.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Dhan Pocket RBI registered and safe?
The lender it names, Pawansut Holdings Limited, is on RBI's NBFC register at serial 5391 (New Delhi office, ICC, Base layer, as on June 30, 2026) and is not on the cancelled list. But Pawansut's own website does not mention Dhan Pocket, we could not confirm it in RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory, and it is not on Google Play. Treat it with caution.
What does a Dhan Pocket loan really cost?
Far more than the 15%–35% APR it prints. Its calculator charges 0.5% to 1% a day: ₹10,000 for 24 days at 0.75% costs ₹1,800. A fee of 10% plus 18% GST, ₹1,180, is deducted first, so you get ₹8,820 and repay ₹11,800. Its own policy allows salary-advance rates up to 382.5% a year.
How much can I borrow from Dhan Pocket, and for how long?
The loan details page and FAQ say ₹5,000 to ₹1,00,000, though the web app's pricing panel starts at ₹10,000. Tenure is 7 to 40 days on the loan details page and 7 to 45 days in the web app, while the interest-rate policy mentions up to 3 months. Repayment can be a single bullet payment rather than EMIs.
Who is eligible for a Dhan Pocket loan and what documents are needed?
You need to be salaried, employed for at least 6 months, aged 21–58 per the homepage (the FAQ says 21 to 60, the terms 22 to 55) and earn above ₹35,000 or ₹40,000 a month, depending on the page. Keep PAN, Aadhaar for DigiLocker, salary slips for the last three months and bank statements or Account Aggregator consent ready.
What is the Dhan Pocket customer care number and how do I complain?
Its site lists +91 9319209946 and info@dhanpocket.com. For complaints, write to grievance@dhanpocket.com (phone 9319210427) and keep a copy; no grievance officer is named. The lender's own address is grievanceredressal@pawansutholdings.com. If there is no fix within one month, file with RBI at cms.rbi.org.in or report at sachet.rbi.org.in.
Is there a Dhan Pocket app on Google Play?
No. We found no Play listing as of October 2026; Dhan Pocket runs in the browser at app.dhanpocket.com. Google Play bars personal loans repayable in 60 days or less and, in India, accepts only apps on RBI's digital lending list, so its 7 to 45 day loans would not qualify. Ignore APK files or links offered by agents.
How do I file a complaint against Dhan Pocket?
Work the escalation ladder in order. First, raise the complaint with Dhan Pocket support (info@dhanpocket.com) and insist on a written complaint reference number — a call with no reference number effectively did not happen. If it is unresolved, escalate to the grievance redressal officer at grievance@dhanpocket.com. The regulated entity has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can complain free of cost to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — no lawyer is needed, and the decision is binding on the lender.
How do I stop harassment calls from Dhan Pocket recovery agents?
RBI's rules on recovery conduct are specific: agents may not call before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., may not use threats, abuse or intimidation, and may not contact people from your phonebook to shame you. Blanket access to your contacts and photos is prohibited for digital lenders. If this is happening, save the evidence — call logs, screenshots, recordings — and complain to the lender's grievance officer (grievance@dhanpocket.com), then to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in if it continues. If the app is not a regulated entity at all, report it on the RBI Sachet portal (sachet.rbi.org.in) and to the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Harassment, morphed images and contact-list shaming are criminal offences regardless of whether you owe money.
