Apollo Finvest Loan App Real or Fake? Apollo Cash and Its Partners
By Abhishek Kumar · Content Writer Edited by BankCreds Content & SEO Team Updated 30 October 2026 Reviewed by BankCreds Financial Experts Apollo Finvest is real. Apollo Finvest (India) Limited is an NBFC on RBI's register, and its shares are listed on BSE. Its own loan app, Apollo Cash, lends in the company's name. Being regulated answers half of the "is it safe?" question. The other half is price, because Apollo Cash's published APR runs from 15% all the way to 200%.
So the one check that matters is the Key Fact Statement (KFS) on your offer screen. Look at the APR, and at how much actually lands in your bank after the fee. You may also meet Apollo Finvest without ever opening Apollo Cash, since it funds loans through other apps too. Everything here is as of 30 October 2026.
The quick verdict on Apollo Finvest
- Real company: yes. RBI's register, as on 30 September 2026, has it at Sl. 562. It trades on BSE as APOLLOFIN.
- Its own app: Apollo Cash (com.ApolloApp) on Google Play. Apollo Finvest sanctions and pays out every loan on it.
- Partner apps: it also works with apps such as Nira, Fatakpay and WeRize, and funds lenders such as Pocketly.
- Cost: ₹1,000 to ₹50,000, with a processing fee as high as 21% (GST extra) and APR anywhere from 15% to 200%.
- Watch for: a Data safety note that contacts may be shared, bursts of one-word five-star reviews, and pages that disagree.
Apollo Finvest, Apollo Cash and the partner apps
Apollo Finvest is the company. It says it has been an NBFC since 1985, and its CIN is L51900MH1985PLC036991. Apollo Cash is its own app, launched for Android in 2025. There's no middleman on Apollo Cash. The Play listing says all loans are "sanctioned and disbursed directly by Apollo Finvest".
The wider business is less obvious. Apollo's lending partners page lists four kinds of tie-up:
- LSP partners: Nira, run by Shuhari Tech Ventures, and Airpay Capital. These apps find the borrowers, and Apollo lends.
- Co-lending: Fatakpay, from FDPL Finance, and the WeRize Customer App, from Wortgage Finance. Here the loan is shared with another lender.
- Term loans: Lendingplate, Vivifi Finance, InPrime Finserv, Niyogin Fintech and Pocketly. Apollo appears to fund these lenders, not their borrowers directly.
- Marketing agencies: Credit Links, Go Credit, Growfi, Mobavenue (Quidmoney), Cready, Kredbharat, WeCredit, Gromo and Loanmax Advisory. They send leads. They don't lend.
So if your loan papers mention Apollo Finvest but you never installed Apollo Cash, a partner app may be the reason. Your KFS says which company lends.
One more thing. Apollo Finvest is not related to Apollo Hospitals, Apollo Tyres or Apollo Global Management. RBI's list also holds two other NBFCs with close names. They are Apollo Trading and Finance in New Delhi, and Apollo Industries & Project in Ahmedabad.
Is Apollo Finvest RBI registered? Retrace our steps
Our checks date from 30 October 2026, and each takes a few minutes.
- Start with the app. Apollo Cash's Play developer is APOLLO FINVEST (INDIA) LIMITED. The website's Download button points to the same listing.
- Find it on RBI's list. Apollo Finvest (India) Limited appears at Sl. 562 in the edition dated as on 30 September 2026, under RBI's Mumbai office. It's an investment and credit company that doesn't take deposits.
- Match the CIN. The register shows L51900MH1985PLC036991, the same as Apollo's own pages.
- Compare addresses. The register and the Play developer details give Unit No. 803, Blue Moon, Veera Industrial Estate, Andheri (West). The website footer uses another office, in Commerce Centre, Andheri West.
- Note the registration number. Apollo quotes RBI Reg. No. N-13.00722. RBI's list doesn't print these numbers, so we couldn't match it.
- Try RBI's list of digital lending apps. Our connection was refused, so do this one yourself.
- Read the KFS. On Apollo Cash it should name Apollo Finvest. On a partner app, it shows who the lender really is.
RBI's own server timed out, so an Internet Archive copy dated 20 October 2026 was our source for the list. The list of cancelled registrations wasn't readable. Our web searches found no RBI penalty, caution or app ban against Apollo Finvest or Apollo Cash. That's a search result, not a guarantee. To run the same checks on any lender, use our step-by-step RBI guide.
Apollo Cash charges in rupees and percentages
Term | What Apollo publishes | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
Loan amount | ₹1,000 to ₹50,000 | Play listing and website FAQ |
Tenure | 3 to 9 months | Play listing, updated 28 October 2026 |
Tenure | 3 or 6 months, monthly EMIs | Website FAQ |
APR | 15% to 200%, including interest and fees | Play listing |
Processing fee | Up to 21%, plus GST, taken upfront | Play listing |
Interest method | Fixed rate, on a reducing balance | Website and interest rate policy |
Late fee | "As notified from time to time", no amount | Terms of use |
Bounce charge | Given in the sanction letter, no amount | Fair Practice Code |
Prepayment | Allowed in the app, charges as in the KFS | Website and loan terms |
The only worked example is on Play. Borrow ₹40,000 over 9 months, and you make 9 EMIs of ₹5,137. That's ₹46,236 in total, which Play puts at 63.83% APR. We ran the numbers. That EMI fits an interest rate of 36% a year on a reducing balance. An APR of 63.83% then implies you'd receive about ₹36,000, with about ₹4,000 kept upfront.
Apollo's board policy allows rates from 0% to 113% across all its products. That's a policy band, not an Apollo Cash price. No yearly interest rate for Apollo Cash itself is published.
Borrowers' own accounts show how upfront fees feel. On 13 May 2026, a reviewer said ₹886 was cut from a ₹5,000 loan, leaving ₹4,114. On 14 October 2026, another said ₹6,300 was cut from ₹15,000, leaving ₹8,700. A 19 August 2026 review claims an APR of 224%, above Apollo's own 200% cap. We couldn't verify any of these.
Why Apollo Finvest gets called fake, and what's normal
- Name confusion. Many unrelated firms use the Apollo name, including two other NBFCs on RBI's list.
- Rating claims. The website and About page say 4.4 stars on Google Play. The listing showed 4.0 on 30 October 2026.
- Placeholder faces. The homepage's "Verified" testimonials use avatars made in code. None of their text matched the Play reviews we read.
- Old legal text. The terms of use still carry a "Declaration By Investor" calling Apollo "only a market platform". That clashes with its role as a direct lender.
- Two addresses, two emails. The footer and RBI's list give different offices. The contact page and the grievance flowchart give different emails for the same officer.
- Phone data. Play's Data safety section says contacts may be shared with third parties. The privacy policy covers regular SMS and installed-app collection. Yet Apollo's own recovery rules forbid lending apps from reading your contact list.
What's normal here? An NBFC working with partner apps through LSP and co-lending deals is a common setup. Agencies that send leads are normal too. So are a fee taken from your payout, DigiLocker eKYC and a selfie match.
What borrowers say about Apollo Cash on Google Play
On 30 October 2026 the listing showed 4.0 stars from 3.52K reviews and 5L+ downloads. It was last updated on 28 October 2026.
We read the 1,200 newest dated reviews, from 1 August to 29 October 2026, plus the 100 marked most relevant. Five-star posts made up 229 of 324 in August, 469 of 572 in September and 196 of 304 in October.
September stands out. From 18 to 22 September 2026, the feed filled with one-word five-star reviews from different accounts. Words like "Holistic", "Qualified", "Certified" and "Passionate" came up again and again. That looks inorganic. Late October also had many short, templated lines praising speed.
The low-star reviews keep returning to a few problems:
- No second loan. On 20 October 2026, a borrower who had repaid was told to apply again after 90 days. Another says the app has shown "not eligible" since an early closure.
- Calls before the due date. A 17 August 2026 review describes 15 to 20 calls in the five days before the due date.
- Payments not showing. On 27 October 2026, a user said payments weren't updated and staff mentioned an FIR.
- Paying early costs extra. Another 27 October review reports ₹250 extra for paying 3 EMIs in advance.
- Stuck applications. On 8 September 2026, a user said an application sat on "processing" for 15 days, with calls unanswered.
Praise exists too. A 28 October 2026 reviewer said they were "approved and funded in record time". In April 2026, another liked that Apollo didn't chase them with calls 10 to 12 days before the due date. The developer answers one-star reviews with the same template.
How to spot a fake Apollo Finvest app, agent or call
- One official app. Play searches for Apollo Finvest, Apollo Cash loan and Apollo loan all return com.ApolloApp. Any other "Apollo" loan app is not Apollo Cash.
- No WhatsApp number. Apollo's own pages publish none. A reviewer mentions an "official WhatsApp", but treat any WhatsApp contact as unverified.
- No upfront payments. The fee comes out of the loan itself. Nobody should ask you to pay before the money is sent.
- Known agencies only. Apollo's partner page lists six collection agencies, including SFS Allianz and Collekt Tech LLP. The terms say you'll be told the agents' names at sanction.
- Call hours. Apollo's recovery policy sets recovery calls between 08:15 and 18:45. Calls well outside that are worth reporting.
- Its own promise. The website says "No recovery agents calling your friends or family. Ever." Hold Apollo to that.
Problems with an Apollo Finvest loan? The complaint route
- Customer service. Write to grievanceredressal@apollofinvest.com or call +91 77009 86861. Support also works inside the app. Apollo aims to reply in 5 to 10 business days.
- Grievance Redressal Officer. Ms. Pooja Gohel, on 7700986861 and compliance@apollofinvest.com. This level has 20 business days. The contact page lists her at the first email instead, so copy both.
- RBI. Apollo says every complaint should close within 30 days. If yours doesn't, go to cms.rbi.org.in or dial 14448, and name Apollo Finvest (India) Limited.
- Fraud. If someone posing as Apollo takes money or threatens you, call 1930 and file a police report.
Got your loan through a partner app? Complain to that app's grievance officer first, since it runs your account. Apollo's partner page lists each one, such as escalation@fdplfinance.com for Fatakpay. Every Apollo contact is also on our Apollo Finvest customer care page.
Should you use Apollo Finvest?
Apollo Cash may suit someone who needs ₹1,000 to ₹50,000 for a few months and can repay on time. It takes salaried, self-employed and small business borrowers aged 21 to 58. Its big plus is that the lender is the regulated company itself.
Look elsewhere if the KFS shows a high APR or a big fee cut. With fees up to 21% plus GST, a small loan gets costly fast. Compare at least one more offer, such as KreditBee or mPokket, before you accept. Our full Apollo Finvest review rates the app on speed, cost and support.
Frequently asked questions
Is Apollo Finvest real or fake?
Apollo Finvest is real. Apollo Finvest (India) Limited is registered with RBI as an NBFC (Sl. 562 in the 30 September 2026 list), and its shares trade on BSE. Its app, Apollo Cash, lends in the company's own name. The concerns are cost and some pages that contradict each other, not whether the company exists.
Is Apollo Cash RBI registered?
Apollo Cash is the app. The registered lender behind it is Apollo Finvest (India) Limited, a non-deposit-taking NBFC under RBI's Mumbai office. The company quotes RBI Reg. No. N-13.00722. RBI's directory of lending apps wouldn't open on 30 October 2026. Search it for Apollo Cash yourself.
How much does an Apollo Cash loan cost?
On Play, Apollo puts the APR between 15% and 200%, counting interest and fees. The processing fee can reach 21%, with GST on top, and it's taken upfront. Its sample loan of ₹40,000 over 9 months costs 9 EMIs of ₹5,137. Late, bounce and foreclosure charges aren't published anywhere we read. Your KFS shows them.
What is the Apollo Finvest customer care number?
The Play listing and grievance pages give +91 77009 86861, and the support email is grievanceredressal@apollofinvest.com. You can also reach support inside the app. Still unsolved? Write to Ms. Pooja Gohel, the Grievance Redressal Officer, at compliance@apollofinvest.com. Allow 20 business days.
What if Apollo Cash agents call too often or threaten me?
Apollo's website promises no recovery calls to friends or family. Its policy also limits recovery calls to between 08:15 and 18:45. Note each call's time and number, and complain to grievanceredressal@apollofinvest.com. Report threats, including FIR threats, on 1930. If 30 days pass without a fix, take it to RBI.
Can I close an Apollo Cash loan early?
Yes. Apollo Cash lets you prepay any amount, or close the whole loan, inside the app. Any foreclosure charge is the one in your KFS, since no amount is published. One reviewer reported ₹250 extra for paying 3 EMIs early, so check the payoff figure first. Ask for a closure letter afterwards.
I got a loan through Nira or Fatakpay. Is that Apollo Finvest?
It may be. Apollo lists Nira as an LSP partner and Fatakpay as a co-lending partner. In those cases the partner app runs your account, and Apollo may be the lender or co-lender. Your KFS names the lender. Take any problem to the partner app's grievance officer first, then to Apollo.
Is Apollo Finvest linked to Apollo Hospitals?
No. Apollo Finvest (India) Limited is a Mumbai NBFC, unrelated to Apollo Hospitals, Apollo Tyres or Apollo Global Management. RBI's list has two more NBFCs with similar names, in New Delhi and Ahmedabad, and they are separate too. On Play, check that the developer reads APOLLO FINVEST (INDIA) LIMITED before you install.
