B4Salary Loan App Real or Fake? Kisga's NBFC App, Checked
By Pankaj Pandey · Content Writer Edited by BankCreds Content & SEO Team Updated 30 October 2026 Reviewed by BankCreds Financial Experts B4Salary is a genuine loan app, and the money you borrow is lent by Kisga Leasing & Finance Private Limited. Kisga is an NBFC from Delhi that RBI has registered, and the Google Play app is published in Kisga's own name. So B4Salary is not fake. Is it safe? That's a separate question, and the honest answer is "only if you read the fine print".
The one thing to check before you apply is the Key Fact Statement, or KFS. B4Salary's website, Play listing and homepage calculator each describe a different loan. The KFS you see before you e-sign is the only price that binds you. Searching for "B4 Salary"? It's the same app. Our findings are as of October 2026.
B4Salary in five quick points
- Real or fake: real. The website says Kisga Leasing and Finance Pvt Ltd owns and runs B4Salary.
- Who lends: Kisga itself. It is Sl. No. 3774 on the NBFC list RBI dated as on 30 September 2026.
- Price: the website quotes 35% a year, with a 2% fee and GST on top. The Play example uses 3% a month.
- Main worries: clashing terms, a Play data label that says nothing is collected, and recovery complaints.
- Reviews: 4.8 stars on Play, but a lot of the five-star praise looks copied.
Who runs B4Salary, and whose money you borrow
Many loan apps pair a tech company with a separate lender. B4Salary doesn't. Its website says the brand is owned by Kisga Leasing and Finance Pvt Ltd, an RBI-registered NBFC. The Play developer is KISGA LEASING AND FINANCE PRIVATE LIMITED too. So the company showing you the offer is the one lending you the money.
The website does blur this once. In one spot it calls Kisga its "NBFC partner", as if B4Salary were a separate firm. But RBI's own list gives Kisga's registered email as Accounts@B4salary.com. That ties the brand to the lender quite firmly.
Kisga's CIN is U74899DL1993PTC053939. Its registered office is C-31, DSIDC, Rohtak Road Industrial Complex, Nangloi, Delhi 110041. The same address shows up in the site footer, on Play and in RBI's list.
Is B4Salary RBI registered? Six checks you can repeat
B4Salary is a brand, so it holds no RBI licence of its own. The lender does. Here is how we checked Kisga on 30 October 2026, in an order you can follow at home:
- Find the lender's name. The B4Salary website and the Play listing both name Kisga Leasing & Finance Private Limited.
- Look Kisga up on RBI's register. It sits at Sl. No. 3774, filed with RBI's New Delhi regional office. It is a base-layer investment and credit company. It can't take public deposits.
- Match the CIN and address. The list shows U74899DL1993PTC053939 and the Nangloi address. Both match the website.
- Look at the certificate. The website shows Kisga's certificate of registration, No. B-14.01626, issued in New Delhi on 8 February 2000.
- Open RBI's directory of digital lending apps. It wouldn't load for us on 30 October 2026, so look for B4Salary there yourself before applying.
- Read the KFS. It must name Kisga as the lender. If it names anyone else, stop there.
RBI's server refused our connection, so we read the list from an Internet Archive copy taken on 20 October 2026. Kisga's own website didn't respond either. No RBI caution or press release that we came across names Kisga or B4Salary.
Can't find a lender's name on RBI's list? Sachet is where RBI takes reports about lenders that aren't registered. For the same checks on any app, see our RBI app-check guide.
What a B4Salary loan costs, page by page
B4Salary prints its price in three places, and they don't agree. Here is what each one says.
Term | What B4Salary publishes | Where it says so |
|---|---|---|
How much you can borrow | ₹5,000 to ₹1,00,000 | Website apply page |
Repayment period | 1 to 3 years | Website apply page |
Repayment period | 90 to 365 days | Google Play listing |
Interest | 2.9166% a month, APR 35% fixed | Website apply page |
Interest | 3% a month, APR up to 42.576% | Google Play example |
Processing fee | 2% of the loan, plus 18% GST | Website apply page |
Processing fee | 5% to 10% on the slider | Homepage calculator |
Early repayment | No foreclosure or prepayment penalty | Fair Practices Code |
Late payment | Penal charges in bold in the loan agreement | Fair Practices Code |
The website's worked example is the clearest. Say you borrow ₹50,000 for 12 months at 35% APR. A ₹1,000 fee and ₹180 GST come off first, so ₹48,820 reaches your bank. You then pay 12 EMIs of ₹4,998, which comes to ₹59,978. Of that, ₹9,978 is interest.
Notice that the 35% leaves the fee out. A true APR counts the fee as well, so the real yearly cost of that example is a little above 35%.
The Play example is smaller. Borrow ₹10,000 at 3% a month for 12 months, and the EMI is ₹1,004.68. You'd repay ₹12,056.16 in all, and ₹2,056.16 of it is interest.
The homepage calculator is the odd one out. It works in days, from 70 to 365, and charges 0.25% to 1% a day. We can't tell which of the three matches the loan you'd get. The site itself warns that its rates are typically higher than bank loans.
Why some people think B4Salary is fake
Nothing we found points to a made-up lender. The doubts come from careless, clashing pages. These are the ones worth knowing about:
- Three price stories. As the table shows, the website, Play and the calculator differ on tenure, rate and fee.
- A data label that doesn't fit. On Play, the developer's data safety form declares that nothing is collected or shared. The privacy policy says it reads financial SMS and may collect your installed apps through a partner called Credeau.
- Location after uninstall. The terms allow location tracking for as long as you owe money, even once the app is deleted.
- A Gmail support address. Play lists beforesalary@gmail.com as the app support email. The website uses care@b4salary.com.
- Another company's name. The grievances page has text about Capora Fintech Private Limited. It also calls a Paschim Vihar address the "registered address", which isn't the one RBI holds.
- Big claims. The site says it is rated 4.8 on the Play Store and App Store, but we found no iPhone app. It also claims 10L+ clients, while Play shows 1L+ downloads.
- An odd nodal email. The nodal officer's address ends in kisga.com. That domain belongs to an unrelated crystal-goods company.
Plenty of things are normal for a digital loan, though. A fee cut from the payout is standard. So are PAN and Aadhaar checks, a live selfie and three months of salary slips. The same goes for a credit check with CRIF High Mark, Experian or TransUnion CIBIL.
What B4Salary borrowers say on Google Play
On 30 October 2026 the app had 4.8 stars from 653 reviews and 1L+ downloads. It was last updated on 21 September 2026. The listing data suggests a release date of 7 June 2026, though we couldn't see that label.
Take that score with a pinch of salt. The newest reviews Play returned, from 29 June to 29 October 2026, show signs of planted praise:
- The same five-star paragraph appeared 8 times under different names between August and October 2026.
- A five-star post on 28 October 2026 praised "earning opportunities online", which has nothing to do with loans.
- From 18 to 28 October 2026, between 12 and 29 five-star reviews landed every day.
- We saw no developer replies at all.
The one-star reviews are more useful. A few themes kept coming back:
- Stuck in review. On 9 October 2026 a user said a loan had sat "under review" since 2 October. No support line worked.
- No money after e-sign. On 28 October 2026 a borrower said every paper was signed the day before, but no funds had come.
- A closing charge. On 21 October 2026 a user reported a ₹548 "convenience charge" plus ₹98 GST when closing the loan.
- Payments not showing. On 23 September 2026 a borrower said they took ₹12,500 a month earlier and repaid ₹14,850, but the app hadn't updated. Another said the NOC was withheld.
- Rough recovery. Reviews from 1, 5 and 8 October 2026 describe calls to family and references, and abusive words.
There is praise as well. A 28 October 2026 reviewer said the loan was approved in 20 minutes. Read every review as one person's account, not as proof.
How to spot a fake B4Salary app, agent or call
Scammers copy brands that people already trust. Run these checks before you share anything:
- Install only the Play app. The real one is "B4SALARY: Insta Personal Loans", package com.kisga.b4salary_app, from KISGA LEASING AND FINANCE PRIVATE LIMITED. An APK someone forwards on WhatsApp isn't the real thing.
- Watch for lookalike names. Fundsb4salary is a separate brand. We haven't checked it, so don't assume it's the same company.
- Never pay to get a loan. B4Salary's fee is cut from the amount you receive. Anyone asking for a "processing fee" up front is not B4Salary.
- Repay only through the official link. The site warns borrowers to use its repayment link and not to make direct bank payments. Never pay into a personal UPI ID.
- Test the caller. A genuine collector already knows your loan ID and what you owe. Ask them to name the lender too.
Oddly, the pay-now page shows a bank account in Kisga's name despite that warning. If you ever pay by transfer, the account must be Kisga's, never a person's.
A B4Salary loan gone wrong? Who to contact
Go up this ladder in order, saving screenshots and emails as you go:
- Customer care. Call +91 8049368211 or write to care@b4salary.com. The contact page says it answers from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. The aim is a fix within 7 working days.
- Grievance officer. Sangeeta Chauhan, on 8796553277 or grievance@b4salary.com. She should give a final reply within 15 working days.
- Nodal officer. V.K. Gupta, on 7733866660. His email, nodalofficer@kisga.com, sits on an unrelated domain, so call him and copy the grievance address.
- RBI. If 30 days go by with no fix, file on RBI's complaint site, cms.rbi.org.in, or ring 14448. Give Kisga Leasing & Finance Private Limited as the lender.
- Fraud or threats. Call the cybercrime helpline on 1930 and file a police complaint.
Every number above is also on our B4Salary customer care page.
Should you use B4Salary?
If you're salaried, between 21 and 55, and take home ₹30,000 or more a month, B4Salary could work. (Another page on the site puts the bar at ₹25,000.) Even then, apply only if the KFS shows a plan you can afford and repay on time.
Look elsewhere if you want a firm price before applying, or if broad phone permissions worry you. The same goes if a missed due date would bring calls to your family. Before you sign anything, compare at least two other offers. Fibe, CASHe and Moneyview are worth a look for a loan of this size.

Frequently asked questions
Is B4Salary real or fake?
B4Salary is real. Kisga Leasing & Finance Private Limited, an NBFC based in Delhi, runs it and lends the money. Kisga is on RBI's 30 September 2026 list of NBFCs, and the Play app carries its name. The real concerns are different: clashing price pages, a data label that conflicts with the privacy policy, and complaints about recovery calls.
Is B4Salary RBI registered?
B4Salary is a brand, not a licence holder. Its lender, Kisga Leasing & Finance Private Limited, is registered with RBI. You'll find it at Sl. No. 3774, under RBI's New Delhi regional office, in the list dated as on 30 September 2026. The website shows its certificate, No. B-14.01626. RBI's app directory didn't load for us, so search it yourself.
How much does a B4Salary loan really cost?
The website says 35% a year, fixed, plus a 2% fee and 18% GST on it. In its example, a ₹50,000 loan leaves ₹48,820 in hand and costs ₹59,978 over 12 months. The Play listing uses 3% a month and an APR of up to 42.576%. Trust only the KFS you see before you e-sign.
What is the B4Salary customer care number?
Call +91 8049368211 or email care@b4salary.com. The contact page lists hours of 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. An in-app panel instead says seven days a week, 9:30 am to 11:30 pm. For complaints, write to grievance officer Sangeeta Chauhan at grievance@b4salary.com, or call her on 8796553277.
What if B4Salary agents call my family or references?
B4Salary's own Fair Practices Code bars harassment during recovery. Save the call logs and messages, then complain in writing to grievance@b4salary.com and ask which agency is calling. If threats go on, call 1930 and go to the police. Still stuck a month later? RBI's complaint portal, cms.rbi.org.in, is the next stop.
Can I close a B4Salary loan early?
Yes. The Fair Practices Code says Kisga won't charge individual borrowers a foreclosure or prepayment penalty. The apply page also promises early repayment with zero penalty. Still, one reviewer on 21 October 2026 reported a ₹548 plus GST "convenience charge" at closing. Ask for the payoff amount in writing, and get an NOC once you've paid.
Is B4 Salary the same as Fundsb4salary?
"B4 Salary" with a space is simply the B4Salary app from Kisga. Fundsb4salary is a separate brand with its own website, and we did not research it. So don't treat the two as one company. On Google Play, check that the developer reads KISGA LEASING AND FINANCE PRIVATE LIMITED before you install anything.
Why does B4Salary's Play page say it collects no data?
That line is the developer's own declaration, and it clashes with the privacy policy. The policy covers financial SMS, installed apps through Credeau, and sharing with banks, NBFCs and credit bureaus. The terms even allow location monitoring until dues are cleared. Grant only the permissions you're comfortable with.
