Zenith Loans App Real or Fake? What We Found on The Zenith Loan
By Rashmi Mandana · Content Writer Edited by BankCreds Content & SEO Team Updated 30 October 2026 Reviewed by BankCreds Financial Experts The Zenith Loan, the website most people find by searching "Zenith Loans", is real. It is the trading name of Zenith Machinery Private Limited, a Kolkata NBFC on RBI's list of registered NBFCs. There is no Zenith Loan app on Google Play, so the website is the only channel we could confirm. Everything here was checked on 30 October 2026.
Real is not the same as safe, though. Zenith Machinery's own pricing policy says it expects to charge at least about 264% a year, and its loans last only weeks. Your one job before applying is to read the Key Fact Statement (KFS). Find three figures in it: the money you get, the total you repay and the due date.
Quick answer
- Real lender: The Zenith Loan is a brand of Zenith Machinery Private Limited. That NBFC dates from 1992 and lends the money itself.
- On RBI's list: the NBFC is entry 8484 in RBI's register, as it stood on 30 September 2026. The CIN on the website matches.
- Website only: as of October 2026 we found no Zenith Loan app on Google Play. Treat any app or APK file using the name with suspicion.
- Very costly: the lender's typical range is 326% to 456% a year. Its policy says the top end is for first-time borrowers and very short loans.
- Pages disagree: the site quotes different amounts, rates and fees on different pages. Only the KFS you are shown should count.
Who is behind The Zenith Loan, and whose money is it?
Think of the website as the NBFC's own shop window. The site's interest rate policy says the name "The Zenith Loan" stands for Zenith Machinery Private Limited for all purposes. So when you borrow, the loan sits on Zenith Machinery's own books. There is no separate partner lender in between.
Two tech firms work around the brand. The footer credits Credwise Fintech as the firm that powers the site.
The fair practices code says work is outsourced to Fintech Cloud, which it calls an affiliated digital loan service provider. The terms even describe a joint venture with Fintech Cloud. Two names for one job is messy, but it is not a sign of a fake lender.
Several details tie the brand to the NBFC. Zenith Machinery's own website has a partner page that names The Zenith Loan and its grievance officer. The repay page gives an ICICI Bank current account held by Zenith Machinery itself. And the Kolkata address on RBI's list, 13 Brabourne Road, is the registered office on the brand's support page.
Watch out for lookalike names. The Zenith Loan has nothing to do with Zenith Bank of Nigeria, the Zenith Wealth mutual fund app, or Zenka Loan in Kenya. Two other Kolkata NBFCs, Zenith Credit Limited and Zenith Fiscal Services Private Limited, are separate firms too.
Is The Zenith Loan RBI registered? Checks you can repeat
A website can't hold an RBI licence. Only the lender behind it can. So the test is to find that lender, then look it up in RBI's records. Here is the path we followed.
- Note the lender and its CIN. The about page names the NBFC partner as Zenith Machinery Private Limited and prints CIN U29100WB1992PTC055627.
- Open RBI's register of NBFCs. In the 30 September 2026 edition, Zenith Machinery is entry 8484, filed with RBI's Kolkata office. It is non-deposit-taking and sits in the base layer. Its type is investment and credit company, and the CIN matches.
- See if the lender owns up to the brand. Zenith Machinery's partner page lists The Zenith Loan by name. A lender that names the brand on its own site is a good sign.
- Search RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory. This shows which apps and sites each lender has reported to RBI. The page would not open for us on 30 October 2026, so that entry is unconfirmed. Check it yourself before you sign.
- Check who receives your repayment. The bank details on the repay page are in the NBFC's own name. A request to pay any other name is a warning.
- Report outside offers on Sachet. Sachet is the RBI portal where the public can flag unregulated lending. Use it for any "Zenith" offer that does not come from the official site.
We could not read RBI's separate list of cancelled registrations. Still, the NBFC was on the live list on that date. Our RBI approval walk-through covers the same ground for any other lender.
What a Zenith loan costs in rupees
The homepage terms and the lender's own policy fit together, so we trust those most. Each row below says where the figure appears.
Item | Figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
Amount | ₹10,000 to ₹1,00,000 | Homepage (the rate policy starts at ₹5,000) |
Tenure | 10 to 30 days | Homepage |
Interest | About 264% a year at least, 326% to 456% typical | Zenith Machinery's interest rate policy |
Processing fee | 5% to 10% of the loan, plus taxes, cut from the payout | Site's interest rate policy |
APR | No figure given | Homepage |
Prepayment | No charge | Homepage |
Late payment | Penal interest, amount not stated | Site's interest rate policy |
The homepage calculator gives one worked case. Borrow ₹20,000 for 14 days at 0.75% a day, and it shows ₹2,100 of interest and ₹22,100 to repay. That daily rate is about 273.75% a year. The calculator does not show a fee.
Now add the cheapest fee in the policy. Five percent of ₹20,000 is ₹1,000, and 18% GST adds ₹180. If that ₹1,180 comes off the payout, you get ₹18,820 and owe ₹22,100 two weeks later. That is ₹3,280 more than you received.
Other pages paint a gentler picture. The personal loan page lists 3 to 24 months at 12% to 24% a year. It also shows loans up to ₹5,00,000 and a 2% to 3% fee.
The FAQ puts the range at ₹50,000 and up. Those pages look like template copy, and they clash with the lender's policy.
There is one more clash. The site's policy says salary advance rates will be capped at 382.5% a year by Q4FY2026. The lender's typical top of 456% is higher than that. We can't tell which rule wins, so read the rate printed in your KFS.
Why some people think The Zenith Loan is fake
Most doubts come from what is missing or mixed up. These are the warning signs on the company's own pages:
- No Play Store app. The grievance policy mentions a "Thezenithloan Mobile Application", yet we found none on Google Play. People hunting for the app come up empty.
- Clashing numbers. The smallest loan is ₹10,000 on one page and ₹50,000 on another. The income bar is over ₹40,000 net on the homepage and ₹18,000 elsewhere.
- Speed claims that don't match. The homepage says verification takes 24 to 48 hours. The FAQ says money arrives in 10 to 15 minutes after approval.
- Unchecked claims. The homepage shows a 4.8 out of 5 rating, 50,000+ users and ₹100 Cr+ lent. With no app store page, none of this can be checked.
- Wide data terms. The company keeps the right to follow your location, even once the app is gone from your phone. Consent to promotional calls and SMS sits in the same terms.
Some things that look strange are normal. An NBFC may lend through its own website. Short loans are legal, just costly.
A live selfie, two references and a UPI Autopay mandate are steps in the web journey here. They don't point to fraud by themselves.
What borrowers say about The Zenith Loan
There is very little to go on. With no Play listing, there are no public star ratings or reviews. The homepage testimonials and its 4.8 rating come from the company itself, so we did not rely on them.
We also searched for news reports, police cases and RBI actions naming Zenith Machinery or The Zenith Loan. We found none as of 30 October 2026. That is mildly reassuring, but quiet is not proof of good service. If you have borrowed, your own KFS and bank statement are better evidence than any rating.
How to spot a fake Zenith Loans app, agent or call
Scammers like names that people already search for. These checks come from the brand's own pages and plain common sense.
- An app on Play or an APK link. As of October 2026 the brand runs on its website only. Don't install a "Zenith Loans" app or a file sent on WhatsApp.
- A fee before the loan. The site's policy says fees are netted from the amount paid out. So a demand for money upfront breaks the brand's own rule.
- A personal UPI ID. Repayments go to a current account in Zenith Machinery's name. Never pay a person's UPI ID or a different company.
- An unknown number. Customer care is +91 9319195649. The site's security alert page gives +91 9319195645 for fraud reports.
- Calls at odd hours. The lender's recovery policy says borrowers are usually contacted between 8 AM and 7 PM, unless they agreed otherwise.
If an offer arrived by call or message, close it and call the listed number yourself. Never act on the link or number inside the message.
What to do if something goes wrong
Start with the brand, then go up the chain. Keep screenshots, call times and your loan ID as you go.
- Customer care: call +91 9319195649 or email support@thezenithloan.com. Lines are open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 06:30 PM. The WhatsApp button uses the same number.
- Grievance officer: write to Ritik Prasad at grievance@thezenithloan.com or call +91 9319195645. The policy aims to resolve complaints within 7 business days.
- Nodal officer: Aayush Dixit, +91 9319195648, Nodal@thezenithloan.com.
- The lender's own officer: Zenith Machinery lists Rajinder Kumar for grievances. Reach him on +91-7303089376 or grievance@zenithmachinery.in.
- RBI: no answer within 30 days, or a reply you reject? Use the RBI Integrated Ombudsman, online at cms.rbi.org.in or by ringing 14448.
- Fraud or threats: call the cybercrime helpline 1930 and report at your local police station.
All these numbers are on our Zenith Loans customer care page. For other lenders, see our directory of lender helplines.
Should you use The Zenith Loan?
It may fit a salaried borrower with net pay over ₹40,000 who needs a small sum for two or three weeks. You should already know your next salary covers the whole repayment. You should also have read the KFS and be fine with the data terms.
Look elsewhere if you need more than a month to repay, or if you are borrowing to clear another loan. Skip it too if location tracking after uninstall bothers you. A loan priced at hundreds of percent a year can turn a short gap into a long problem.
If you'd rather repay in monthly EMIs, read our reviews of KreditBee, Fibe and Moneyview. These are regulated apps we have reviewed, and you can set each one's KFS beside a Zenith offer. For ratings and pros and cons, see our full Zenith Loans review.
Frequently asked questions
Is Zenith Loans real or fake?
Zenith Loans, which trades as The Zenith Loan, is real. It is a brand of Zenith Machinery Private Limited, an NBFC that RBI's register carried on 30 September 2026. We found no sign that it is a fraud. But it is a costly short-term lender with pages that disagree, so read the KFS before you accept.
Is The Zenith Loan RBI registered?
The lender is: Zenith Machinery Private Limited is entry 8484 in RBI's register of NBFCs as at 30 September 2026. Its CIN matches the one printed on the website. RBI registers lenders, not brands or websites. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory would not load for us on 30 October 2026, so check that entry yourself.
How much does a Zenith loan really cost?
The lender's interest rate policy sets a floor of about 264% a year and a typical range of 326% to 456%. On top, the site takes a fee of 5% to 10%, plus taxes, out of your payout. Its calculator shows ₹2,100 of interest on ₹20,000 for 14 days. Your KFS gives the exact figure for your loan.
Does The Zenith Loan have an app on Google Play?
Not that we could find. A Google Play search for the brand and the lender, run on 30 October 2026, turned up nothing. The website is the only route we could confirm, even though one policy mentions a mobile app. Treat any Play Store app or APK file that uses the Zenith name as unofficial until the lender confirms it.
What is The Zenith Loan customer care number?
Customer care is +91 9319195649 from Monday to Saturday, and the email is support@thezenithloan.com. For complaints, the grievance officer is Ritik Prasad on +91 9319195645. Zenith Machinery, the lender, names Rajinder Kumar as its own grievance officer, reachable on +91-7303089376. If nothing is fixed in 30 days, go to the RBI Ombudsman.
What if I get harassment or a fake call about a Zenith loan?
Don't pay anyone who calls first, because real repayments go only to Zenith Machinery's own current account. For abusive recovery calls, complain to the grievance officer in writing and keep records. The lender's policy says calls usually happen between 8 AM and 7 PM. For threats or fraud, call 1930 and file a police report.
Can I close a Zenith loan early?
On the homepage, early closure is free. The personal loan page, though, mentions a 2% to 3% fee on the outstanding principal after 3 months. Since the pages clash, check the prepayment line in your KFS. Then ask customer care in writing for the exact payoff amount, and keep the closure confirmation they send you.
Why do some pages on the site show 12% to 24% a year?
That figure comes from the personal loan page, which talks about loans over 3 to 24 months. It conflicts with the homepage, which offers 10 to 30 days, and with the lender's policy, which starts at about 264%. Trust the rate, fee and due date printed in your own KFS.
