The Zenith Loan is a web-only, short-term loan brand, and the lender is the company that runs it: Zenith Machinery Private Limited, a Kolkata NBFC listed in RBI's register. What you most need to know is the price, because the lender's own interest rate policy puts its minimum expected rate at about 264% a year, on loans you repay in 10 to 30 days. There's no Google Play app, and the website's pages don't agree with each other on amounts, tenure, rates or fees. We read every policy page, checked the lender in RBI's list and lined up what each page says. Below you'll find what a loan really costs, how to complain, and which regulated apps to look at instead, as of October 2026.

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 2.5/5

The site promises money anywhere from minutes to a day after checks, but its pages disagree and we couldn't test it.

Interest & cost 0.5/5

The lender's own policy sets a minimum expected rate of about 264% a year, plus a fee of up to 10% of the loan.

App experience 2.0/5

There's no Play Store app, only a web journey whose pages give clashing amounts, tenures and rates.

Customer support 3.0/5

A phone line, support email, named grievance and nodal officers, and a second level at the NBFC are all published.

Safety & transparency 2.0/5

The lender is in RBI's NBFC list, but contradictory pricing, an unconfirmed DLA listing and a location clause drag it down.

Loan Details & Charges

Loan Amount ₹5,000 to ₹1,00,000
Interest Rate 264% to 456% a year
Tenure 10 days to 1 months
Processing Fee 5% to 10% + GST
Late Payment Penal interest at the contracted default rate on the overdue instalment for the days of delay; amount not published (KFS only)
Foreclosure Homepage: no pre-closure or prepayment charges; personal-loan page: 2-3% of outstanding principal after 3 months (conflict)
Bounce Charges EMI/ECS/ACH mandate return and handling charges per the schedule of charges; amount not published

Eligibility Criteria

Age 21-58 years
Min Income ₹40,000 per month
CIBIL Score 650+
Employment Salaried only
Documents PAN, Aadhaar, last 3 months' bank statement (or account aggregator), live selfie, 2 references

What It Actually Costs

Loan amount ₹20,000
Tenure 1 month (30 days)
Monthly EMI ₹24,400 (one repayment, no EMI)
Total interest ₹4,400
Processing fee ₹1,000 + ₹180 GST = ₹1,180, deducted upfront
Total repayment ₹24,400

Illustrative: ₹20,000 repaid in one go after 30 days at the lender's stated minimum of 264% a year, with the lowest fee in its 5% to 10% range plus 18% GST, so you'd receive ₹18,820 and repay ₹24,400. At 456%, the top of its typical range, the interest alone would be ₹7,600.

Pros

  • The lender, Zenith Machinery Private Limited, is in RBI's NBFC list
  • Bank-transfer repayments go to an account in the NBFC's own name
  • Grievance officer, nodal officer and NBFC-level escalation contacts are all published
  • Fees come out of the payout, so nothing is charged just for applying
  • The homepage says there are no pre-closure or prepayment charges

Cons

  • The lender's own policy puts its minimum expected rate at about 264% a year
  • Tenure is only 10 to 30 days, so the full amount plus interest falls due within a month
  • Pages contradict each other on amount, tenure, rate, processing fee and pre-closure charges
  • No Google Play app; the web journey asks for a selfie, bank data and 2 references
  • The terms let the company track your location even after you uninstall, until dues are cleared

Our Verdict

The Zenith Loan isn't an anonymous app with nobody behind it. Zenith Machinery Private Limited is in RBI's NBFC list as on 30 September 2026, its CIN matches the one in the site's footer, repayments go to a bank account in the NBFC's own name, and both the brand and the NBFC publish grievance and nodal officers. Plenty of small web lenders don't manage that much. The trouble is price and clarity. The lender's policy says its minimum expected rate is about 264% a year, and that the top of its 326% to 456% range applies to first-time borrowers and ultra-short loans, which is exactly what this product is. On our illustrative ₹20,000 loan you'd get ₹18,820 in hand and owe ₹24,400 a month later. The site then contradicts itself: one page shows 12% to 24% a year over months, the rate policy caps salary advances at 382.5%, and the FAQ talks about ₹50,000 to ₹5,00,000. We'd only consider it after reading the Key Fact Statement line by line and checking that your next salary covers the whole repayment. If a regulated app will lend you the same sum over monthly EMIs, that's the safer route. The location-tracking clause in the terms is another reason to pause.

Who The Zenith Loan suits

A salaried borrower earning over ₹40,000 a month who needs a small sum for a few weeks and has no cheaper regulated option
Someone who has read the Key Fact Statement and is sure the next salary will cover the full repayment on the due date
A borrower who wants to deal with the NBFC's own brand rather than a marketplace that passes data to several lenders

Look elsewhere if

You want monthly EMIs over several months rather than one repayment within 30 days
You want a lender whose rate, fee and tenure read the same on every page
You'd rather use a Play Store app you can check against RBI's DLA directory before applying

Not sure the app is genuine? Is The Zenith Loan real or fake? How to check it yourself

Things to Watch

  • The lender says the top of its 326% to 456% a year range applies to first-time and ultra-short loans like this one
  • The site's rate policy and the lender's own PDF give different rate caps, so you can't tell which one applies
  • We couldn't confirm the brand in RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory ourselves
  • The outsourcing partner is named as Credwise Fintech Pvt. Ltd. in one place and Fintech Cloud Pvt Ltd in another
  • Tracking your location after you uninstall goes well beyond what a lender needs to approve a loan

How to Apply for The Zenith Loan

  1. 1

    Check the lender first

Make sure the loan documents name Zenith Machinery Private Limited and match the CIN in the site's footer before you share anything.

  2. 2

    Enter PAN and mobile number

The web journey starts with your PAN and a mobile OTP, then asks for your employer, salary and salary date.

  3. 3

Share bank data, a selfie and references

You upload a bank statement or use the account aggregator route, take a live selfie, and add 2 references.

  4. 4

    Read the KFS, then e-sign

Before you e-sign and approve the UPI Autopay mandate, check the KFS for the annual rate, fee and penal charges. Stop if they don't match what you were shown.

Documents Required

PAN card
Aadhaar card
Bank statement for the last 3 months
A live selfie for KYC
Contact details of 2 references

What Real Users Say

The site shows its own user rating and customer counts, but with no store listing there's no independent rating to check them against.

We found no Google Play listing for The Zenith Loan, so there are no store ratings or dated user reviews to read. The only reviews we saw are testimonials on the company's own homepage.

What users love

The homepage testimonials praise a simple application and seeing the repayment amount before confirming. They're published by the company itself and we couldn't verify who wrote them.

Common complaints

We found no dated complaints, bans or police action in the sources we use. For a web-only lender with no store reviews, that silence isn't proof of a clean record.

How The Zenith Loan Compares

vs mPokket — mPokket also serves small, short-term needs, and it lends through a Play Store app you can check before sharing documents.

vs KreditBee — KreditBee is a regulated lender with a far wider loan range, so it's worth getting a quote before taking a payday-style loan.

vs FlexSalary — FlexSalary targets the same salaried borrowers, so compare its Key Fact Statement side by side with The Zenith Loan's.

How we tested

On 30 October 2026 we read The Zenith Loan's website, including its interest rate policy, fair practices code, terms, privacy and grievance pages, and the policy PDFs on Zenith Machinery's own site. We checked the lender in RBI's NBFC list as on 30 September 2026 using an Internet Archive copy. We searched Google Play and found no app. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory wouldn't load for us, and we didn't take a loan, so payout speed and the actual KFS are unverified.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is The Zenith Loan safe and RBI registered?
The lender behind The Zenith Loan is Zenith Machinery Private Limited, which appears in RBI's NBFC list as on 30 September 2026 under the Kolkata regional office. The brand isn't a separate company; the NBFC runs it. We couldn't open RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory to confirm the listing ourselves, and the pricing is very high, so registration alone doesn't make it a good deal.
What is the real interest rate and cost of The Zenith Loan?
Expect a very high cost. Zenith Machinery's own interest rate policy puts its minimum expected rate at about 264% a year and its typical range at 326% to 456%. The site's policy adds a processing fee of 5% to 10% of the loan, plus GST, taken out of the payout. On ₹20,000 for a month at 264%, you'd receive ₹18,820 and repay ₹24,400.
How much can I borrow from The Zenith Loan and for how long?
The homepage offers ₹10,000 to ₹1,00,000 for 10 to 30 days. The site's rate policy says ₹5,000 to ₹1,00,000 over 7 days to 3 months, while other pages mention up to ₹5,00,000 over many months. We treat the homepage figures as the live product, but rely only on the amount and due date printed in your sanction letter and KFS.
Who is eligible for The Zenith Loan and what documents are needed?
The homepage asks for a net monthly salary above ₹40,000, and the FAQ says salaried professionals can apply. Another page lists an age of 21 to 58 years and prefers a credit score of 650 or more. You'll need PAN, Aadhaar and your last 3 months of bank statements, plus a live selfie and 2 references during the web application.
What is The Zenith Loan customer care number and how do I complain?
Customer care is +91 9319195649, from 10:00 AM to 06:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. If that doesn't help, contact grievance officer Ritik Prasad on +91 9319195645; the policy promises a resolution within 7 business days. The NBFC's own site lists a second-level grievance officer, Rajinder Kumar, on +91-7303089376. If it's still unresolved after one month, complain to RBI.
Is there a Zenith Loan app on the Google Play Store?
No. We searched Google Play on 30 October 2026 for The Zenith Loan, its brand name and its lender, and found no listing. The terms and grievance policy refer to a mobile application, but the only working route we found is the website. Be wary of any Play Store app or APK file using the Zenith name, and check which lender it names inside.
How do I file a complaint against The Zenith Loan?
Work the escalation ladder in order. First, raise the complaint with The Zenith Loan support (support@thezenithloan.com) and insist on a written complaint reference number — a call with no reference number effectively did not happen. If it is unresolved, escalate to the grievance redressal officer at grievance@thezenithloan.com. The regulated entity has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can complain free of cost to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — no lawyer is needed, and the decision is binding on the lender.
How do I stop harassment calls from The Zenith Loan recovery agents?
RBI's rules on recovery conduct are specific: agents may not call before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., may not use threats, abuse or intimidation, and may not contact people from your phonebook to shame you. Blanket access to your contacts and photos is prohibited for digital lenders. If this is happening, save the evidence — call logs, screenshots, recordings — and complain to the lender's grievance officer (grievance@thezenithloan.com), then to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in if it continues. If the app is not a regulated entity at all, report it on the RBI Sachet portal (sachet.rbi.org.in) and to the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Harassment, morphed images and contact-list shaming are criminal offences regardless of whether you owe money.
