2 Lakh Loan Without Documents, Salary Slips - Eligibility & How to Apply

A ₹2 lakh loan "without documents" is a paperless loan, not an unchecked one: PAN and Aadhaar verified on a phone, bank data shared by consent, a selfie and an e-signed agreement. At this size a lender may want a second income behind the loan, and a co-applicant, often a spouse or parent, goes through the same digital checks and shares the debt. In our example ₹1,96,460 reaches you; total cost runs from ₹17,901 to ₹78,511.

When is a joint application worth it for ₹2 lakh?

When both people share the spending and the benefit. A couple moving cities might need ₹2 lakh for a rental deposit, packers and basic furniture. Two siblings might fund a parent's planned surgery and the recovery costs insurance leaves out.

It's a poor idea when the co-applicant is only doing you a favour: their income, debts and credit history are judged with yours, and they owe the whole loan if you stop paying. If the money is for a vehicle, price a car loan first; Piramal Finance, for one, funds up to 90% of a used car's value.

What does ₹2 lakh cost the household from first EMI to last?

Our table deducts a 1.5% fee of ₹3,000 plus ₹540 GST at disbursal, so ₹1,96,460 lands while interest runs on the whole ₹2 lakh. A co-applicant changes who repays, not this arithmetic.

At 13% a year over 12 months you repay ₹2,14,361, a total cost of ₹17,901. At 22% over 36 months repayment reaches ₹2,74,971 and the cost ₹78,511, more than four times as much. Most fees in our lender data start above 1.5%: Fibe from 2% and Zype 2–6%, while Stashfin stacks a 3% transaction fee on a 2.85% platform fee, both plus GST. Kissht and Piramal Finance quote up to 5%.

₹2 lakh: ₹3,000 fee + ₹540 GST = ₹3,540 upfront, ₹1,96,460 received · weekly = EMI × 12 ÷ 52.

Can two salaries carry the EMI on ₹2 lakh?

At 13% a year the EMI is ₹17,863 over 12 months, ₹9,508 over 24 and ₹6,739 over 36. At 22% those become ₹18,719, ₹10,376 and ₹7,638. In weekly terms, 24 months at 13% is about ₹2,194.

Before applying, agree whose account pays the EMI and what happens if one income stops. Both of you are liable for the full loan, so a missed ₹10,376 instalment is a joint problem. Late-payment penal charges must appear in the KFS, can't be added to the interest rate and attract no interest themselves.

What does each applicant share in a joint digital KYC?

Each person verifies separately. The main applicant gives PAN, Aadhaar e-KYC, a selfie, the bank account that will receive the money and some evidence of income. The co-applicant completes their own PAN and Aadhaar check, and the Aadhaar OTP goes to the mobile registered to their Aadhaar, not yours. Where statements come through an account aggregator, each of you consents for your own account, with purpose, recipient and expiry on screen, and either can revoke it.

Lenders weigh both incomes, debts and credit histories. Score floors in our data: 650 at Fibe (preferred) and Zype, 730 at Stashfin, with exceptions, and 750 at Piramal Finance. Stated minimum incomes: ₹15,000 at Stashfin, Kissht and Zype, ₹20,000 at Fibe, ₹25,000 at Piramal Finance.

Fibe, Stashfin, Kissht, Zype or Piramal Finance for a shared ₹2 lakh?

Our data doesn't show which of these five accept a co-applicant on a personal loan, so ask before you plan around one; Kissht's FAQ says it needs no guarantor or security. Piramal Finance is an NBFC lending in its own name: it starts at ₹50,000, runs 9 to 60 months, verifies income from three months' statements and charges 3% plus taxes for part-prepayment or foreclosure. Kissht (Si Creva Capital Services) also reaches 60 months. Stashfin's loans come from Akara Capital Advisors, an NBFC, and partner lenders, on a credit limit over 3 to 48 months with nil foreclosure charges. Zype lends through Respo Financial Capital, whose site states loans up to ₹3 lakh. Our data doesn't name Fibe's lender, so check the KFS.

How do two people apply for ₹2 lakh without paper, step by step?

Sit down together, each with your own phone.

  1. 1

Agree the amount, the purpose, whose account receives the money and which account pays the EMI.

  2. 2

Ask the lender whether this product takes a co-applicant and what it needs from them: income, credit report or only KYC.

  3. 3

Each of you completes PAN, Aadhaar e-KYC and the selfie on your own device; never forward an OTP, even within the family.

  4. 4

Share bank data only inside the lender's app or an account aggregator's consent screen, after checking purpose and expiry.

  5. 5

Both of you read the Key Fact Statement: APR, net disbursal, EMI, penal charges, prepayment terms and cooling-off period.

  6. 6

After signing, check the money reached the agreed account and that each of you received the signed KFS and sanction letter.

Where do joint paperless loans go wrong?

Joint liability comes first. Business Standard notes that if one co-applicant defaults, the others must cover the shortfall, and a separation, job loss or family quarrel doesn't cancel that. A default reported to a credit bureau also triggers an SMS or email alert from the lender.

Fraud comes second. Kissht's RING brand warns of messages from personal numbers demanding KYC documents plus an advance processing fee; RBI says never share KYC copies with unverified apps. Genuine fees appear in the KFS, and Zype takes its fee out of the amount disbursed. RBI's rules also give you a cooling-off window, money paid only into a borrower's account and a nodal officer for complaints.

₹2 lakh loan without documents: FAQs

Can I enter my co-applicant's Aadhaar OTP for them?
Don't. The OTP goes only to the phone or email that person registered with UIDAI, and the step exists to show that they themselves agreed. RBI warns against passing an OTP to anyone at all. If your co-applicant lives in another city, ask the lender how they can verify on their own phone.
Will a co-applicant's salary raise the amount I can borrow?
It can. Lenders assess both applicants' incomes, debts and credit histories, and one large NBFC's eligibility page says a co-applicant's qualifications are added to yours. Their existing EMIs count too, though, and Piramal Finance wants the debt-to-income ratio within acceptable limits. A co-applicant already carrying heavy loans may add little.
How is a co-applicant different from a guarantor?
A co-applicant borrows with you and shares the repayment from the first EMI; both of you owe the whole amount. A guarantor is normally called on only if the borrower fails to pay. Kissht says it doesn't require a guarantor or security, so ask each lender which role, if any, it accepts.
Whose bank account receives the ₹2 lakh on a joint loan?
A borrower's own account. RBI requires disbursal into the borrower's bank account and, outside narrow exceptions, never to a third party, including the app's service provider. Decide in advance which of your accounts it is, and set the EMI mandate on the account that will hold the money each month.
Does my co-applicant need a good credit score too?
It helps, because lenders consider both credit histories. Fibe prefers 650 or above, though it says first-time borrowers are considered; our data shows 730 at Stashfin, with exceptions, 650 at Zype and 750 at Piramal Finance. A co-applicant with recent defaults could weaken the application rather than strengthen it.
My spouse is self-employed. Can they still be the co-applicant?
Confirm the lender's rules for co-applicants first. As main borrowers, Stashfin accepts salaried and self-employed people and Fibe publishes a self-employed document list, while Zype lends to salaried individuals. Expect a self-employed partner's bank statements to carry most of the weight in the assessment.
