Check the number before you dial

Searching for a customer care number is one of the most exploited moments in Indian consumer finance: fraudsters seed fake helplines into search results, map listings and social-media replies. Take the number from IndusInd Bank's own site or from inside its app, and never accept inbound help. No bank, NBFC or lender in India will ever ask for your OTP, PIN, CVV, full card number or a screen-sharing app, and no genuine refund requires you to pay first.

IndusInd Bank's own published warning: “Never share your Card Number, CVV, PIN, expiry date, OTP, Internet Banking User ID, Password or URN with anyone, even if the caller claims to be a Bank employee. Sharing these details can lead to unauthorised access to your account. Your Bank will not ask for such details.”

If money has already left your account, call 1930 and file at cybercrime.gov.in the same hour — see the first-hour fraud steps.

What you can get done on the IndusInd Bank helpline

  • Report an unauthorised transaction on your debit card, net banking, mobile banking or credit card by calling 1860 267 7777, or through the online dispute resolution form on the bank’s site.
  • Block a debit card immediately by phone, through IndusNet (Service Requests, Debit Card Requests, Notify Lost or Stolen Card), in the IndusMobile app, or by SMS to 9223512966.
  • Block a credit card on the IVR or with a phone banking officer on 1860 267 7777, through IndusNet or the app, or by texting 5676757.
  • Block net banking or mobile banking access immediately by calling 1860 267 7777.
  • Get your account balance by missed call on 1800 274 1000.
  • Check balance, get a mini statement, view rewards, pay a credit card bill, block a credit card, check vehicle loan and EMI details or request a callback on WhatsApp.
  • Raise a complaint at a branch complaint register, with the Branch Manager, on the contact centre, by email to reachus@indusind.com, or through the online complaint form.

Keep these ready before you call — your loan or account number, registered mobile number, the exact date and amount of the transaction in question, and any earlier complaint reference number. Ask for a reference number before the call ends and note the agent's name: without a reference, an escalation has nothing to attach to.

It is published as a 24x7 line. These are taken from IndusInd Bank's own official contact page — verify anything you find elsewhere against that page or inside the app before calling.
Is there a 24x7 IndusInd Bank helpline?
Yes. IndusInd Bank publishes 1860 267 7777 as available round the clock. Largely yes for the phone line. IndusInd Bank titles 1860 267 7777 its 24x7 customer care helpline and its Customer Protection Policy lists the contact centre IVR as available 24x7. The demat and ETCD escalation desks are narrower, at Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. No hours are published for the Nodal Officer or the Principal Nodal Officer, and the WhatsApp channel is described only as round the clock without a formal commitment. Toll-free: 1800 266 0447, 1800 274 1000, 1800 572 6000 / 1800 599 10000 / 1800 300 10000, 1800 266 9945, 1800 266 0616.
Does IndusInd Bank have a WhatsApp number?
Yes — +91 22 4406 6666, published on its own website. IndusInd Bank’s OnTheGo social banking. Say Hi from your registered mobile number and subscribe, or give a missed call on 874 490 0400 to register. Services include account balance, mini statement, rewards points, account upgrade and Aadhaar update; credit card summary, bill payment, mini statement, rewards, blocking the card and applying for one; and for vehicle loans, loan details, next EMI details, KYC document upload, callback requests and overdue EMI pickup. Save it from the official page rather than from a forwarded message: impersonating support on WhatsApp is one of the most common fraud methods in Indian lending today.
How do I file a complaint against IndusInd Bank?
Start with customer care and get a complaint reference number — every later step depends on it. If it is unresolved, write to the Grievance Redressal / Nodal Officer listed above with that reference, your account or policy number and dates. If 30 days pass without a satisfactory reply, complain to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — it is free, online and needs no lawyer.
Who is the grievance redressal officer of IndusInd Bank?
Mr. A Sharma, Senior Vice President — Nodal Officer, reachable at nodal.officer@indusind.com. Officer names change — the full current details are always on IndusInd Bank's own grievance page, linked at the foot of this page.
How do I know a IndusInd Bank customer care number is genuine?
Take it from only two places: the official website, and the support section inside the app. RBI requires the detail to be displayed there, and it is the one place a fraudster cannot edit. Never dial a number from a search snippet, a map listing, a social-media reply or a comment thread. And never accept inbound help — if someone calls claiming to be IndusInd Bank, hang up and dial the official number yourself. No company will ever ask for your OTP, PIN, CVV or a screen-sharing app.
