Best Amazon and Flipkart Credit Cards in India 2026: 5% Caps Compared
For an Amazon Prime member, the free Amazon Pay ICICI card pays 5% on Amazon with no cap, and for Flipkart and Myntra the Flipkart Axis and SBI cards pay 5% and 7.5% up to ₹4,000 a quarter. If you split your shopping between both sites, a card that pays 5% on each, such as Swiggy Ornge, HDFC Millennia or CASHBACK SBI, comes out ahead on our ₹20,000 monthly budget.
In short
Take the co-brand card of the site that gets most of your money, and if neither site dominates, a card paying 5% on both wins as long as its cap sits above your monthly online spend.

Amazon, Flipkart or both?
For a Prime member who buys mostly on Amazon, the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank card is the one to have: 5% on Amazon, no cap and no annual fee. If Flipkart and Myntra take most of your money, the Flipkart cards from Axis Bank and SBI Card pay 5% and 7.5% there, and if your shopping are split between both sites, a card paying 5% on each is the stronger buy.
How we chose
We looked at every active card in our data that pays an accelerated rate on Amazon, Flipkart or both, and kept eight of it. For each we checked the earn rate on the two sites, how the cap works and over what period, what is excluded, how the cashback reach you, and what it costs to keep. Then we put one ₹20,000 monthly shopping budget through all eight.
The selection is ours alone, no bank or shopping site paid to be here. Data cut-off: the banks' MITCs, terms and card pages as read on 5 November 2026. Shopping cards change often, Flipkart Axis Bank rewrote its rates in June 2025 and SBI CASHBACK added caps in April 2026, so check before you apply.
Three questions decide it
Which site gets more of your money? How much do you spend there in a month, compared with the cap? And will you spend enough in the year to get the fee waived? Answer those three and the right card mostly pick itself. Our Flipkart Axis vs Amazon Pay ICICI comparison takes the most common two-way choice in more depth.
Eight cards for Amazon and Flipkart shoppers
Built for Amazon
Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card. 5% on Amazon for Prime members and 3% for others, with no cap stated, 2% on bill payments and recharges made through Amazon Pay, and 1% elsewhere. No joining or annual fee, and rewards arrive as Amazon Pay balance that never expire. It is invite only, with a ₹30,000 monthly income floor. Deciding figure: no cap on the 5%.
Built for Flipkart and Myntra
Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card. 7.5% on Myntra, 5% on Flipkart and Cleartrip, each capped at ₹4,000 per statement quarter, plus 4% with no cap on Swiggy food orders, Uber, PVR and a few others. ₹500 plus GST a year, waived only at ₹3,50,000 of yearly spend. Deciding figure: ₹4,000 a quarter per merchant, so ₹80,000 of Flipkart spend in a quarter before the 5% stops (₹4,000 divided by 5%).
Flipkart SBI Card. The same headline rates, 7.5% Myntra and 5% Flipkart and Cleartrip, with 4% at Netmeds, PVR, Uber and Zomato instead of Swiggy. SBI's terms repeat a ₹4,000 limit per calendar quarter on each row but does not say whether it is one shared limit or one per category. Fee and waiver matches with the Axis card. Deciding figure: 4% on Zomato and Uber.
Paying 5% on both sites
Swiggy Ornge HDFC Bank Credit Card. Launched in March 2026, it pays 5% on Swiggy and on a list of online merchants that include Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Nykaa, up to ₹1,500 per billing cycle, and 1% on the rest up to ₹1,000. The ₹500 fee is waived from year two at ₹1.5 lakh. Deciding figure: a ₹1,500 cycle cap, so ₹30,000 of 5% spend.
HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Card. 5% on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Swiggy, Zomato and five other brands, but only 1,000 CashPoints a calendar month, and each statement-credit redemption cost ₹50 plus GST. ₹1,000 plus GST a year, waived at ₹1 lakh. Deciding figure: 1,000 CashPoints a month, which is ₹20,000 of 5% spend.
CASHBACK SBI Card. 5% on online spends with no merchant list, so Amazon and Flipkart and almost any site counts, capped at ₹2,000 a statement cycle since 1 April 2026, with 1% offline up to another ₹2,000. ₹999 plus GST, waived at ₹2 lakh a year. Deciding figure: ₹40,000 of online spend a cycle before the cap.
BOBCARD Cashback Credit Card. 5% on domestic online spends, made of 1% base plus 4% accelerated, with the accelerated part capped at ₹1,500 per statement. You need minimum 4 transactions in the cycle to get it. ₹499 a year, or ₹49 a month, with no waiver at all. Deciding figure: the 4-transaction rule.
SimplyCLICK SBI Card. Amazon and Flipkart earn 5 points per ₹100, worth 1.25% at ₹0.25 a point, while Myntra, Swiggy and nine other partners earn 10 points. Its real attraction are two ₹2,000 Cleartrip or Yatra vouchers at ₹1 lakh and ₹2 lakh of yearly online spend. ₹499 plus GST, waived at ₹1 lakh. Deciding figure: the ₹2,000 voucher at ₹1 lakh of online spend.
A ₹20,000 monthly shopping budget, card by card
This shopper puts ₹20,000 a month on one card, ₹2,40,000 a year, with Amazon the biggest single site. Each category is treated as one block and caps are applied; the in-store part is kept to restaurants and similar shops, because some of these cards excludes groceries. Yearly figures are 12 times the monthly ones, and the last column takes off any fee charged.
| Category | Per month |
|---|---|
| Amazon | ₹6,000 |
| Flipkart | ₹4,000 |
| Myntra | ₹1,500 |
| Swiggy food orders | ₹2,500 |
| Restaurants and other in-store spends | ₹6,000 |
| Total | ₹20,000 |
| Card | A month | A year | Fee at ₹2.4 lakh a year | Left after fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Swiggy Ornge HDFC | ₹760 | ₹9,120 | Waived from year two | ₹9,120 |
| CASHBACK SBI | ₹760 | ₹9,120 | Waived | ₹9,120 |
| HDFC Millennia | ₹760 | ₹9,120 | Waived | ₹8,884 after redemption fees |
| BOBCARD Cashback | ₹635 | ₹7,620 | ₹588.82 | ₹7,031.18 |
| Flipkart Axis Bank | ₹532.50 | ₹6,390 | ₹590 | ₹5,800 |
| Amazon Pay ICICI (Prime) | ₹440 | ₹5,280 | ₹0 | ₹5,280 |
| Flipkart SBI | ₹457.50 | ₹5,490 | ₹590 | ₹4,900 |
| SimplyCLICK SBI | ₹240 in points | ₹2,880 plus a ₹2,000 voucher | Waived | ₹4,880 before redemption fees |
The working
- Swiggy Ornge, Millennia and CASHBACK SBI: all ₹14,000 of online spend earns 5%, which is ₹700, and the ₹6,000 in store earns 1%, ₹60, so ₹760 a month on each. That sits under Ornge's ₹1,500 cap, Millennia's 1,000 CashPoints and SBI's ₹2,000. Millennia's statement credits cost ₹59 each (₹50 plus GST), and redeeming quarterly means 4 of them, ₹236 a year.
- BOBCARD Cashback: Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra, ₹11,500, earn 5%, which is ₹575, and the accelerated 4% part, ₹460, is under the ₹1,500 cap. BOBCARD's exclusion list has fast food, so we count Swiggy at nothing to be safe, and restaurants earn 1%, ₹60, so ₹635 a month. The fee is ₹499 plus GST, ₹588.82.
- Flipkart Axis: Flipkart 5% is ₹200, Myntra 7.5% is ₹112.50, Swiggy 4% is ₹100, and Amazon and in-store at 1% are ₹60 each, ₹532.50 in all. Quarterly totals of ₹600 and ₹337.50 is far under ₹4,000. ₹2.4 lakh is below the ₹3.5 lakh waiver, so the ₹590 fee stays.
- Amazon Pay ICICI: 5% of ₹6,000 is ₹300, and Flipkart, Myntra, Swiggy and in-store spends earns 1%: ₹40, ₹15, ₹25 and ₹60. Total ₹440; a non-Prime member gets ₹320 a month, ₹3,840 a year.
- Flipkart SBI: same as Axis on Flipkart and Myntra, but Swiggy earn only 1%, ₹25, so ₹457.50 a month.
- SimplyCLICK: 300 and 200 points on Amazon and Flipkart, 150 and 250 on Myntra and Swiggy at 10X, and 60 in store make 960 points, ₹240 at ₹0.25. Yearly online spend is ₹1,68,000 (₹14,000 times 12), past ₹1 lakh, so one ₹2,000 voucher comes.
Two other shoppers, and a sale month
Change the mix and the order flip. A Flipkart-heavy buyer with ₹10,000 on Flipkart, ₹4,000 on Myntra and ₹6,000 in store gets ₹500, ₹300 and ₹60 on Flipkart Axis, ₹860 a month or ₹10,320 a year, ₹9,730 after the fee, ahead of the ₹9,120 the 5% cards pay. A light Amazon buyer with only ₹6,000 a month earns ₹3,600 a year on Amazon Pay ICICI at no fee. On SBI CASHBACK the same ₹3,600 shrinks to ₹2,421.18, because ₹72,000 a year misses the waiver and the ₹1,178.82 fee (₹999 plus GST) is charged.
Big sale months is where caps bite. ₹40,000 on Amazon in one month earns ₹2,000 on Amazon Pay ICICI and exactly ₹2,000 on CASHBACK SBI, but Swiggy Ornge stops at ₹1,500 and Millennia at 1,000 CashPoints.
Catches that cut your cashback
EMI and no-cost EMI
Big purchases on these sites often goes on EMI, and that usually kills the reward. Amazon Pay ICICI takes the points back if a purchase is converted to EMI, and the Flipkart Axis, Flipkart SBI, Millennia, Swiggy Ornge and CASHBACK SBI terms exclude EMI transactions. Under RBI rules an EMI that carries interest cannot be called no-cost, so read the interest line before you convert.
Gift cards, wallets and the bank's own portal
Buying gift cards to stretch a cap does not work. Flipkart Axis excludes gift cards on Flipkart and Myntra, Flipkart SBI excludes gift card loads and vouchers, Swiggy Ornge excludes gift cards, and Millennia never pays 5% on gift or prepaid card loads. Millennia also pays only 1% at its 10 brands when you go through HDFC's SmartBuy or PayZapp, a trap which many people falls into.
Caps run on different clocks
Flipkart Axis counts its ₹4,000 per merchant per statement quarter, Flipkart SBI per calendar quarter, Millennia per calendar month, and Swiggy Ornge and SBI CASHBACK per billing cycle. A big sale late in a quarter can therefore be capped on one card and not on another. Note it down when your cycle and quarter ends.
The fee waiver is far away on Flipkart cards
Both Flipkart cards need ₹3,50,000 a year, about ₹29,167 a month (₹3,50,000 divided by 12), to waive the ₹500 fee, and Axis does not count rent, wallet loads or gift cards. Flipkart Axis also dropped its lounge visits on 20 June 2025 and cut the welcome voucher to ₹250.
Rewards that are not cash
Amazon Pay ICICI pays Amazon Pay balance under Amazon Gift Card terms, not a money in your bank, and international spends have earned nothing on it since 11 October 2025. SimplyCLICK points become statement credit only in lots of 4,000 points, with ₹99 plus taxes each time.
Cards you cannot get right now
American Express has paused new applications on all its India cards, SmartEarn included, with no reopening date. Axis Bank's site showed no option to apply for its ACE card on 5 November 2026. HSBC Live+ keeps Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra outside its 10% category and pays only its base rate there, so it is not an Amazon or Flipkart card.
Pick by where your money goes
- Prime member, Amazon takes most of your online money: Amazon Pay ICICI, if you get the invite and earn ₹30,000 a month. No fee means it wins outright at low spend, and no cap means it win again in big sale months.
- Flipkart and Myntra first, Swiggy for food: Flipkart Axis Bank. Its 4% on Swiggy has no cap, and the quarterly caps is separate for each site.
- Flipkart and Myntra first, Zomato or Uber for the rest: Flipkart SBI Card, for the 4% on those partners.
- You split shopping between Amazon, Flipkart and food apps: Swiggy Ornge, for ₹20,000 net monthly income, with the highest cap of the HDFC pair and no redemption fee. Millennia suits you only if you value its ₹1,000 voucher at ₹1 lakh of spend in a quarter.
- You shop on many sites, not just two: CASHBACK SBI, which do not need a merchant list, but keep utilities, insurance and rent off it.
- You want a fixed, small fee with no waiver sums: BOBCARD Cashback, for ₹3 lakh a year of income, as long as you make 4 or more transactions in each cycle.
- You like vouchers and shop on Myntra and Swiggy: SimplyCLICK, whose ₹2,000 voucher at ₹1 lakh of online spend is worth 2% on that first lakh (₹2,000 divided by ₹1,00,000).
Many people pairs Amazon Pay ICICI with a Flipkart card. The pair costs ₹590 a year, the Flipkart card's ₹500 plus GST, unless you spend ₹3.5 lakh on that card. Our Flipkart SBI vs Flipkart Axis comparison helps you pick the Flipkart half.
Before you apply
Approval is always the bank's decision. The RBI asks banks to judge your independent financial means and the limits you already hold elsewhere, and it fixes no income floor of its own. Published floors on these cards looks like this.
| Card | Income rule | Age |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Pay ICICI | ₹30,000 a month, invite only | 21 and above |
| Flipkart Axis Bank | None for this card (Axis general: ₹15,000 a month) | 18 to 70 |
| Flipkart SBI, CASHBACK SBI, SimplyCLICK SBI | Not published by SBI Card | 21 and above; maximum 60 or 70 on SBI Card's own page |
| Swiggy Ornge HDFC | ₹20,000 net a month; ITR above ₹6 lakh if self-employed | 21 to 60 salaried, 21 to 65 self-employed |
| HDFC Millennia | ₹25,000 gross a month; ITR above ₹6 lakh if self-employed | 21 to 60 salaried, 21 to 65 self-employed |
| BOBCARD Cashback | ₹3 lakh a year salaried, ₹3.6 lakh self-employed | 21 to 60 |
SBI Card's eligibility page gives two different maximum ages in two places, so ask before you apply if you are near 60. HDFC's Millennia page also shows other figures: its FAQ says ₹35,000 net a month for salaried applicants, and its eligibility section prints a different self-employed figure from the ₹6 lakh ITR in the FAQ. Applications for Amazon Pay ICICI start on Amazon itself; for the others, the bank's own site is the starting point. If a bank rejects you, it has to tell you the specific reasons in writing.
