Best Online Shopping Credit Cards in India 2026: Any Site or One Store
If you buy from many different websites, CASHBACK SBI Card is the strongest online shopping card in 2026, paying 5% on any online spend up to ₹2,000 a statement cycle; it returned ₹1,080 on our ₹28,000 sample month. If one platform takes most of your orders, its own card, such as Amazon Pay ICICI Bank or Reliance SBI Card PRIME, pays more there but less everywhere else.
In short
For online shopping spread across many sites, a flat online card such as CASHBACK SBI Card or BOBCARD Cashback beats store co-brands; a store card wins only when one platform takes most of your orders.
Best for
- Shoppers who spread orders across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, food apps and smaller sites
- People loyal to one platform who can use its own card there
Skip it if
- You buy mostly in shops, since offline rates on these cards are 1% or less
- You often convert purchases to EMI, which earns nothing on most of these cards
Highlights
- CASHBACK SBI Card: 5% on any online spend up to ₹2,000 a statement cycle
- BOBCARD Cashback: 5% on domestic online spends with at least 4 transactions a cycle, ₹499 a year and no waiver
- SimplyCLICK SBI Card: 10 points per ₹100 at partners such as Myntra, Swiggy and Tata CLiQ

Online shopping cards, in two sentences
If your orders are spread over many websites, a card that pays one rate on every online spend, like CASHBACK SBI Card at 5% up to ₹2,000 a statement cycle, will beat most store cards. If one platform get most of your money, that platform's own card pays more there, but you'll want a second card for everything else.
What we compared
Online shopping cards come in three kinds and we picked from all of them: cards with a flat online rate, cards with a list of partner sites, and co-brands tied to one store or group. Ten active cards made the cut, judged on:
- the online rate, and whether it apply to any site or only listed ones
- the cap, and which clock it runs on
- what a point is really worth when the reward isn't paid in rupees
- the fee, and whether a normal online shopper ever gets it back
Terms are as the banks publish them in their MITC, terms and card pages, read on 5 November 2026. No bank pays for placement and we earn nothing from applications, so the order of the list are only our judgement.
A note on what online mean to a bank. SBI Card decides it from the online indicator sent by the card network and the merchant's bank, not from where you clicked, so a payment that feels online can still post as offline. Paying through a wallet, or with a gift card bought on the card, usually takes the spend out of the reward altogether.
Ten picks, by how the card decides what counts
One rate on every website
CASHBACK SBI Card (₹999 plus GST, back on ₹2 lakh a year) pays 5% online with no merchant list and 1% offline. What decides it: online cashback stop at ₹2,000 a statement cycle since 1 April 2026, so the 5% covers ₹40,000 of online spend a cycle and nothing past that.
BOBCARD Cashback charge ₹499 a year or ₹49 a month, your choice, with no spend waiver. Domestic online spends earn 5%, a 1% base plus 4%, with the extra 4% capped at ₹1,500 a statement and paid only when you make at least 4 transactions in that cycle. What decides it: ₹37,500 of online spend maxes the 4% part (₹1,500 divided by 4%). The ₹0 joining fee on BOBCARD's pages from 1 September 2026 is an offer, not the card's fee.
Standard Chartered Smart (₹499, renewal reversed on ₹1.2 lakh, first year waived for new Standard Chartered card customers) pays 2% online up to ₹1,000 a statement cycle and 1% offline up to ₹500. What decides it: the cashback doesn't credit by itself, you redeem it on the Rewards 360 portal with ₹2,500 minimum and in multiples of ₹1,000.
Partner lists
SimplyCLICK SBI Card (₹499, back on ₹1 lakh) gives 10 points per ₹100 at partners including Myntra, Swiggy, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Netmeds and Tata CLiQ, 5 points per ₹100 on other online spends up to 10,000 points a calendar month, and 1 point elsewhere. At ₹0.25 a point as statement credit, that is 2.5%, 1.25% and 0.25%. What decides it: two ₹2,000 Cleartrip or Yatra e-vouchers at ₹1 lakh and ₹2 lakh of yearly online spend, worth almost as much as the points itself for a regular shopper.
HDFC Bank Millennia (₹1,000, back on ₹1 lakh) pays 5% at ten merchants, among them Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Swiggy, Tata CLiQ and Uber, up to 1,000 CashPoints a calendar month, and 1% elsewhere. What decides it: a short list, but one that covers the big marketplaces which SimplyCLICK leave out.
HDFC Bank PIXEL Play (₹500; joining fee waived on ₹20,000 in the first 90 days, renewal on ₹1 lakh) lets you pick two 5% packs out of dining and entertainment, travel, grocery, electronics and fashion, plus one platform at 3% from PayZapp, Amazon or Flipkart. What decides it: 500 CashPoints a month across both packs and another 500 on the platform. The lifetime-free offer on it ended on 31 October 2026.
One store's own card
Amazon Pay ICICI Bank has no joining or annual fee and gives Prime members 5% on Amazon.in, others 3%, and 1% elsewhere. What decides it: no cap is stated on the 5%. It is invite only.
Flipkart SBI Card (₹500, back on ₹3.5 lakh) pays 7.5% on Myntra, 5% on Flipkart and Cleartrip, 4% at Netmeds, PVR, Uber and Zomato and 1% elsewhere. What decides it: a ₹4,000 quarterly limit, and SBI's terms doesn't say if it is shared across those merchants or counted per merchant.
Tata Neu Plus HDFC Bank (₹499, back on ₹1 lakh) pays 2% as NeuCoins at Tata brands such as BigBasket, Croma and Tata CLiQ, an extra 5% on selected categories bought on the Tata Neu app, and 1% elsewhere. What decides it: a NeuCoin is ₹1, but only inside Tata Neu and the Tata brands.
Reliance SBI Card PRIME (₹2,999, back on ₹3 lakh) gives 20 points per ₹100 on AJIO and JioMart since 1 October 2025, 10 at other Reliance Retail stores and 2 elsewhere, at ₹0.25 a point. What decides it: ₹8,750 of Reliance Retail vouchers once the yearly spend reach ₹3 lakh, with points that can only turn into Reliance vouchers.
A ₹28,000 month with ₹20,000 of it online
Our shopper spends ₹20,000 a month online: Amazon ₹5,000, Flipkart ₹3,000, Myntra ₹2,000, Swiggy ₹3,000, AJIO ₹2,000, Tata CLiQ ₹1,000 and ₹4,000 at other sites with no partner deal. Another ₹8,000 goes in shops, groceries ₹5,000 and restaurants ₹3,000. Over a year that is ₹3,36,000 in all and ₹2,40,000 online (₹28,000 and ₹20,000 times 12). Here is how each card handle it, caps applied.

The yearly view adds the milestones this shopper reach and sets the fee, with 18% GST, against it.

| Reliance SBI Card PRIME | ₹3,030 | ₹8,750 in Reliance Retail vouchers | ₹3,538.82 | Yes, at ₹3 lakh |
The flat online cards lead here because this shopper spread money over seven sites. Put the whole ₹20,000 on Amazon instead and Amazon Pay ICICI Bank earns ₹1,000 there plus ₹80 in shops, ₹1,080, exactly what CASHBACK SBI Card earns, but with no fee at all. That tie is why one-store shopper should look at the store's own card first.
Two details on the points cards matters a lot. SimplyCLICK's statement credit comes only in blocks of 4,000 points, each charged ₹99 plus taxes, so the year's 16,560 points (1,380 times 12) cash out as four blocks, ₹4,000, after ₹467.28 of fees (4 times ₹116.82, which is ₹99 plus 18% GST), while the travel vouchers cost nothing. Reliance's 12,120 points (1,010 times 12) become Reliance vouchers only, so its ₹11,780 a year, the ₹3,030 plus ₹8,750, is real money just if you shop at Reliance anyway.
The small print that hits online shoppers
- EMI earns nothing. Amazon Pay ICICI Bank claws back points on a purchase converted to EMI, CASHBACK SBI Card excludes merchant EMI and Flexipay, and Millennia reverses CashPoints on SmartEMI. RBI's rules don't let a bank call an EMI with interest no-cost, and even a true no-cost EMI usually cost you the reward.
- Gift cards and vouchers. Flipkart SBI Card and PIXEL Play exclude gift card loads and voucher purchases, and Millennia never give its 5% on vouchers, even at the ten merchants. SimplyCLICK pays 10 points on e-gift vouchers only when bought on its GyFTR partner portal.
- The bank's own portal can pay less. Buying from the ten Millennia merchants through SmartBuy or PayZapp earns only 1%, and Cleartrip or Yatra bookings made through affiliate channels doesn't get SimplyCLICK's 10 points.
- Foreign websites. Forex markup also applies on rupee payments to merchants registered outside India. SBI Card charges its card's forex rate, 3.5% on these SBI cards, on such rupee payments of ₹1,000 or more, and HDFC Bank's markup for them is 1.75% since 15 May 2026.
- Minimums. BOBCARD pays the 5% only with 4 or more transactions in the cycle and nothing on spends under ₹100; CASHBACK SBI Card, Millennia and PIXEL Play ignores spends below ₹100 too.
- BOBCARD's list. Supermarkets and fast food are on its excluded list. If your Swiggy orders post as fast food, take ₹150 off its month (₹3,000 at 5%).
- Recent changes. PIXEL Play's lifetime-free offer ended on 31 October 2026. From 25 November 2026 Tata Neu NeuCoins have to be claimed in the Tata Neu app within 12 months of the statement, they are not auto-credited any more. SimplyCLICK statement credit is capped at 60,000 points a month since 1 April 2026.
Picking your online shopping card
Open your last three months of orders and count how much went to each site. That one number settle most of the choice.
- One store takes more than half: get that store's card, Amazon Pay ICICI Bank, Flipkart SBI Card, Tata Neu Plus for Tata brands or Reliance SBI Card PRIME for AJIO and JioMart, and keep a flat card for the rest. Our Amazon and Flipkart picks go deeper on the two big ones.
- Four or more sites, steady spends: CASHBACK SBI Card if your yearly spend clears ₹2 lakh, so the fee comes back. Below ₹2 lakh, about ₹16,667 a month, SBI's fee stays and BOBCARD Cashback is ₹590 a year cheaper (₹1,178.82 less ₹588.82), as long as you make 4 transactions each cycle.
- Myntra, Swiggy and Tata CLiQ heavy: SimplyCLICK, if you will actually use travel vouchers. For the three big marketplaces plus Swiggy, Millennia. Our SimplyCLICK vs Millennia comparison sets the two side by side.
- Like to choose your own categories: PIXEL Play, changing packs every 3 months.
Income and paperwork. BOBCARD Cashback wants ₹3 lakh net a year (₹3.6 lakh self-employed), HDFC Bank over ₹25,000 gross a month for Millennia and Tata Neu Plus, ICICI ₹30,000 a month for Amazon Pay plus the invite. SBI Card don't publish a minimum for any card, and Standard Chartered gives none for Smart but you must live in its sourcing cities. PIXEL Play also comes FD-backed, against an HDFC Bank FD of ₹56,000 to ₹5,00,000. Approval is the bank's decision in every case.
