DigiCredit Review

A small-ticket salaried-only loan app (Rs 5,000 to Rs 1 lakh) whose claimed NBFC lender's RBI registration could not be verified.

Reviewed by BankCreds App Review Team· App Review Analysts Updated 28 July 2026

DigiCredit is a small-ticket loan app offering Rs 5,000 to Rs 1 lakh for salaried borrowers, with a stated cap of 36% p.a. and a 62-day minimum tenure that at least matches RBI digital lending norms on paper.

The catch is that almost nothing about it can be verified. The claimed lender, Khosya Finlease, is a real 1998 Delhi company, but its RBI Certificate of Registration isn't published anywhere and we couldn't find it on rbi.org.in. The app's own sources contradict each other on loan amounts, tenures, and even which NBFC is lending. No fee schedule is published. That's not proof of a scam, but it's a transparency record poor enough that we'd verify everything before sharing a single document.

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 3.0/5

Claims approval in minutes and quick disbursal, but that's marketing copy with no independent confirmation either way.

Interest & cost 2.0/5

A stated 36% p.a. cap with no published floor and zero fee disclosure — the true cost is unknowable before the KFS.

App experience 3.0/5

A standard app-based flow on paper, but the Play rating and downloads couldn't be retrieved, so quality is unverified.

Customer support 2.0/5

No verifiable support track record and no complaint-resolution history to assess — a blank page, not a good one.

Safety & transparency 2.0/5

The claimed lender's RBI registration is unverifiable, partner claims conflict, and fees are undisclosed. That caps this score regardless of intent.

What It Actually Costs

Loan amount Rs 25,000
Tenure 6 months
Monthly EMI Rs 4,615
Total interest Rs 2,690
Processing fee Not disclosed — assume there is one and demand the KFS
Total repayment Rs 27,690 + undisclosed fees

Illustrative at the stated 36% p.a. cap, since no floor rate is published. Undisclosed processing and penalty charges could raise the true cost materially — the Key Fact Statement is the only number that counts.

Pros

  • Stated 36% p.a. cap and a 62-day minimum tenure, which at least align with RBI digital lending norms on paper
  • Small, contained ticket sizes (Rs 5,000 – Rs 1 lakh) with tenures of 2 – 12 months
  • The claimed lender, Khosya Finlease, is a real Delhi company incorporated in 1998, not a shell created last year
  • Simple claimed process: Aadhaar and PAN KYC, salaried-only, app-based

Cons

  • The claimed lender's RBI Certificate of Registration isn't published anywhere and we couldn't find it on rbi.org.in
  • No processing fee, late fee, or foreclosure charge disclosed anywhere verifiable
  • Sources contradict each other on basic terms: Rs 1,000 – 50,000 over 62 – 120 days (Play) vs Rs 5,000 – 1 lakh up to 365 days (website FAQ)
  • One third-party source names a different NBFC partner (DSG Investments), and the conflict is unresolved
  • Near-zero independent review footprint: Play rating and download figures unretrievable, all coverage is low-authority SEO blogs

Our Verdict

DigiCredit is, at best, an unverifiable small-ticket lender. The product itself is ordinary: Rs 5,000 to Rs 1 lakh for salaried borrowers, 2 to 12 months, up to 36% p.a. That's classic advance-salary territory, and there are established apps doing the same job with published fees and millions of verifiable reviews. The real cost story here is the unknowns. No processing fee, late fee, or foreclosure charge is disclosed anywhere we could verify, and the Play listing and the website FAQ disagree on basic terms. At 36% p.a., undisclosed fees can easily push the true cost of a short loan much higher, and you won't know until the Key Fact Statement lands. We're not calling DigiCredit fake. Khosya Finlease has existed since 1998, and nothing concrete has surfaced against the app. But the burden of proof sits with a lender, not a borrower. If you still want to proceed: demand the KFS before KYC, get the lender's RBI CoR number in writing, and check it yourself on rbi.org.in. If they can't produce it, walk away. Most borrowers should simply start with a lender that doesn't require this homework.

Who DigiCredit suits

Honestly, almost nobody as things stand — the same loan is available from apps with verifiable lenders
At most: salaried borrowers (21 – 55) needing Rs 5,000 – 1 lakh who have personally verified the lender's RBI CoR and read the KFS
Borrowers who treat this as a last resort and can walk away the moment disclosure falls short

Look elsewhere if

You can't independently confirm the lender's RBI registration — that's most people, and it's disqualifying
You want published fees and penalties before applying — DigiCredit discloses none
You value a real review footprint — mPokket, KreditBee and PayRupik all have one
You're uncomfortable sharing Aadhaar and PAN with an app whose operating entity isn't clearly disclosed

Things to Watch

  • The claimed NBFC partner's RBI CoR number is not displayed on digicredit.in or the Play listing, and could not be found on rbi.org.in — treat RBI compliance as claimed, not verified
  • Conflicting lender claims (Khosya Finlease vs DSG Investments) and conflicting loan terms between the app's own Play listing and website FAQ
  • Zero fee and penalty disclosure — you won't know the true cost until the Key Fact Statement, so refuse to complete KYC before you've read it
  • Almost no independent footprint: no retrievable Play rating or complaint history, only contradictory affiliate blogs — an absence of complaints here reflects thin data, not a clean record
  • Small-ticket, short-tenure lending at up to 36% p.a. is an advance-salary pattern; if approached for repayment by anyone, verify they represent the registered lender

How to Apply for DigiCredit

  1. 1

    Verify the lender first

Before installing, ask DigiCredit support for the lender's RBI CoR number in writing and check it on rbi.org.in. If they can't produce it, stop here.

  2. 2

    Install and register

Download the app from the official Play Store listing (package com.digicredit) and register with your mobile number.

  3. 3

    Demand the KFS before KYC

Ask for the Key Fact Statement showing APR, processing fee, penalties and the lender's name before submitting Aadhaar, PAN or income proof.

  4. 4

    Complete KYC and receive funds

If the KFS checks out and names an RBI-registered lender, complete KYC. Confirm the disbursing account belongs to the named NBFC, not a third party.

Documents Required

Aadhaar card linked to your mobile number
PAN card
Income proof, per third-party listings (unverified)

What Real Users Say

The Play Store rating and download count could not be retrieved, and no credible independent reviews exist. Confidence in any sentiment signal is low.

There is almost no genuine user sentiment to report, which is itself the finding.

What users love

Only generic praise on low-authority SEO and affiliate blogs, with contradictory numbers between them.

Common complaints

No specific complaints surfaced — but that reflects a very thin footprint, not a clean record.

How DigiCredit Compares

vs mPokket — mPokket plays in the same small-ticket space with a far larger track record and a verifiable lender; DigiCredit offers no comparable proof.

vs KreditBee — KreditBee publishes its rates, fees and RBI-registered lending partners and has millions of verifiable reviews; DigiCredit publishes none of that.

vs PayRupik — PayRupik is the like-for-like small-ticket, short-tenure benchmark; even there the paperwork trail is clearer than DigiCredit's.

How we tested

We reviewed DigiCredit's Play Store listing and website, attempted to verify the claimed lender (Khosya Finlease Private Limited) against RBI's published NBFC records, checked corporate registry data, and searched the Play Store and consumer forums for borrower feedback. Key facts could not be confirmed: the lender's RBI CoR is unpublished, sources conflict on terms and even on the lending partner, and no fee schedule is disclosed. Figures are as of July 2026 and reflect claims, not verified terms. Any complaints referenced are user-reported allegations, not adjudicated findings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is DigiCredit RBI approved?
Claimed, not verifiable. DigiCredit says it lends through Khosya Finlease Private Limited, a real 1998 Delhi company, but no RBI Certificate of Registration number is published anywhere and we couldn't find the company on rbi.org.in. One source even names a different NBFC. Get the CoR number in writing and check it yourself before applying.
Is DigiCredit safe to use?
We can't confirm it is. Nothing concrete has surfaced against the app, but the lender's RBI registration is unverifiable, fees are undisclosed, and there's almost no independent review footprint. We score its safety and transparency 2.2 out of 5. Don't share Aadhaar or PAN until you've seen the Key Fact Statement and verified the lender.
How much can I borrow on DigiCredit, and at what rate?
Sources conflict. The website FAQ says Rs 5,000 to Rs 1,00,000 for 2 to 12 months; the Play listing says Rs 1,000 to Rs 50,000 over 62 to 120 days. The stated maximum rate is 36% p.a., with no published floor. Whatever the app quotes, only the figures in your Key Fact Statement are binding.
What fees does DigiCredit charge?
Not disclosed. We found no published processing fee, late payment charge, bounce charge or foreclosure charge anywhere verifiable. At up to 36% p.a., undisclosed fees can raise the true cost of a short loan significantly. Refuse to complete KYC until the app shows you a Key Fact Statement with every charge itemised.
Who is the actual lender behind DigiCredit?
Unclear, and that's the problem. The website names Khosya Finlease Private Limited (CIN U65910DL1998PTC092792, Delhi, 1998), while one third-party blog names DSG Investments instead. Neither claim is backed by a published RBI CoR number. Before borrowing, confirm in writing which registered entity is lending and that disbursal comes from that entity's account.
