Ola Loan App Reviews, Customer Care Number & Details

Personal loans from partner NBFCs inside the Ola app, arranged by Ola Financial Services

This Ola Loan app review covers interest rates, eligibility, charges, documents and real borrower feedback, along with the verified Ola Loan customer care number and support email — plus the RBI grievance route if a complaint is not resolved in 30 days.

FINTECHRBI Regulated
Reviewed by BankCreds App Review Team· App Review Analysts Updated 30 October 2026

Ola loan is the personal loan offer inside the Ola ride app, arranged by Ola Financial Services but not lent by it. The money comes from RBI-regulated partners such as InCred, Tata Capital, Credit Saison India and Poonawalla Fincorp, and since Ola publishes no interest rate or fee, the lender's Key Fact Statement is the only place you'll see the real cost. InCred's tie-up allows loans of up to ₹10 lakh, and there's no separate Ola loan app to install. This review covers who lends, what we could and couldn't check, the Ola Money Postpaid complaints in recent reviews, customer care and the RBI complaint route, as of October 2026.

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 3.0/5

Ola publishes no payout time, though the lender pays straight into your bank account and one recent Ola Money review says the loan arrived immediately.

Interest & cost 2.0/5

There's no published interest rate, fee or APR for loans in the Ola app, so you only see the price in the lender's Key Fact Statement.

App experience 2.5/5

The Ola app's 4.6 stars are earned on rides, and recent reviewers complain about loan ads and Postpaid being picked as the default payment.

Customer support 2.0/5

A grievance officer and phone line are named, but many recent reviewers say complaints go unanswered while recovery calls keep coming.

Safety & transparency 3.0/5

The lenders are RBI-regulated and most list Ola in their own disclosures, but Ola's lender list is stale and RBI has fined Ola Financial Services twice.

Bounce Charges Not published by Ola; set by the lender. IDFC FIRST Bank lists 7.5% of the bounced EMI, minimum INR 400, maximum INR 1000, plus GST, for its own loans.

What It Actually Costs

Loan amount Not disclosed
Tenure Not disclosed
Monthly EMI Not disclosed
Total interest Not disclosed
Processing fee Not disclosed
Total repayment Not disclosed

Ola publishes no rate, fee or standard tenure for its personal loans, so we can't build a fair example. The lender sets the rate and fee, and its Key Fact Statement in the Ola app shows the APR and the amount you'll actually receive after the fee and GST.

Pros

  • Loans come from RBI-regulated lenders such as InCred, Tata Capital and Poonawalla Fincorp
  • Several lenders list Ola Financial Services in their own partner disclosures, so the tie-ups check out
  • InCred's tie-up allows personal loans of up to ₹10 lakh through the Ola app
  • No separate loan app to install: the offer sits inside the Ola app you may already use
  • A named grievance officer, a care number and an escalation path are published

Cons

  • Ola publishes no interest rate, processing fee, APR or sample loan cost anywhere we could find
  • Offers appear only if a partner lender picks you, and Ola says no loan offer is guaranteed
  • Ola's terms let it charge you for using its app, on top of whatever the lender charges
  • Recent reviews describe Postpaid dues after paying drivers, late fees and pushy recovery calls
  • The Ola app collects SMS, installed apps, precise location and credit score data, per its Data safety form

Our Verdict

Ola loan isn't a shady app. The lending is done by RBI-regulated NBFCs, and InCred, Tata Capital, Credit Saison India, Poonawalla Fincorp, DMI Finance and Respo all list Ola Financial Services in their own partner disclosures. That's a better paper trail than most instant loan apps can show. The weak spot is what you can't see before you apply. Ola publishes no rate, fee, APR or worked example, and its terms let it add charges of its own for using the app. Its lender list is out of date too: IDFC FIRST Bank says it has stopped taking new Ola customers, and Aditya Birla Capital's partner page no longer shows Ola. RBI has fined Ola Financial Services twice over KYC in its payments business, and recent reviews describe disputed Postpaid dues, late fees and heavy-handed recovery calls. If an offer pops up in your Ola app, treat it like any other loan quote. Check the lender's name, read the KFS, note the amount you'll actually receive and compare it with a direct quote from the same NBFC. If the numbers aren't clear, don't sign.

Who Ola Loan suits

Regular Ola users who get an offer from a lender they recognise, such as InCred or Tata Capital
Borrowers who'll compare the KFS with a direct quote from the same lender before signing
People who want a larger personal loan from an established NBFC rather than a small-ticket app

Look elsewhere if

You want to see the rate and fee before you hand over any KYC details
You've had trouble with Ola Money Postpaid dues or recovery calls
You'd rather deal with the lender directly, without a ride app in the middle

Not sure the app is genuine? Is Ola Loan real or fake? How to check it yourself

Things to Watch

  • Ola's lender list is stale: IDFC FIRST Bank says it stopped onboarding new Ola customers, and Aditya Birla Capital's live partner page no longer shows Ola.
  • RBI fined Ola Financial Services ₹1,67,80,000 in July 2022 and ₹3.10 lakh in September 2026 over KYC rules in its payments business.
  • No price is shown before you apply, and the loan terms allow equated daily instalments and recovery visits in person.
  • Some Ola Money users say loans or credit lines they never asked for showed up in their name, one found through an Aditya Birla Capital re-KYC letter.
  • Recent reviewers say Postpaid recovery callers threatened home visits or calls to family, in one case over rides the user says were already paid.

How to Apply for Ola Loan

  1. 1

    Open the Ola app

Sign in to the Ola app with your mobile number and go to the Ola Money section. A loan offer appears only if a partner lender has one for you.

  2. 2

    Check the lender

Note the lender named on the offer, then confirm that lender lists Ola Financial Services on its own website before you share documents.

  3. 3

    Complete KYC

Finish CKYC or Aadhaar OTP e-KYC, a liveness check or video KYC, and add the bank account the money should go to.

  4. 4

    Read the KFS and sign

Check the APR, fee, instalment dates and the amount you'll receive in the Key Fact Statement, set up the e-NACH mandate and sign with an OTP. The lender then pays into your bank account.

Documents Required

Aadhaar for OTP-based e-KYC, or an existing CKYC record
A liveness check or video KYC call
Bank account details for the payout
An e-NACH mandate for repayments
Address, income or credit details if the lender asks for them

What Real Users Say

Don't read the 4.6 as a loan rating; it reflects the ride app as a whole. The separate Ola Money wallet app rates 2.1 stars from 31.8K reviews, which is closer to how users feel about Ola's money products.

The Ola app shows 4.6 stars from about 35.5L ratings, but that score is for cabs, autos and bike taxis. Recent reviews that touch on money are mostly about Ola Money Postpaid, and they're largely negative.

What users love

Loan-specific praise is thin. One October review of the separate Ola Money app simply says the loan arrived immediately, and most five-star Ola reviews are short lines about rides.

Common complaints

Recent complaints centre on Postpaid: rides charged to Postpaid after the driver was paid in cash or UPI, late fees, repeated calls and, in one October review, a warning that someone would come home to collect. A few users say loans or credit lines appeared in their name without their asking, and some dislike loan ads in the ride app.

How Ola Loan Compares

vs Poonawalla Fincorp — One of Ola's own lending partners, so applying to it directly shows you its terms without Ola in the middle.

vs DMI Finance — Another lender on Ola's partner list, with its own app, which makes it an easy direct price check.

vs Moneyview — A dedicated loan app in a similar ticket range, worth a quote before you accept an Ola offer.

vs Navi — A fully digital personal loan from a regulated lender, useful as a benchmark for larger amounts.

How we tested

On 30 October 2026 we read Ola Financial Services' loan terms, lending partner list and grievance documents, the Ola app's Google Play listing and Data safety page, and recent reviews of the Ola and Ola Money apps. We checked each named lender's partner disclosures and RBI's NBFC register as on September 30, 2026. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory wouldn't load for us. We couldn't open the in-app loan screens or take a loan, so pricing and payout speed are unverified.

Ola Loan Customer Support Details

Ola Loan offers sit inside the Ola app and are arranged by Ola Financial Services. The money comes from one of several RBI-registered NBFCs or a bank, so check the lender named in your KFS. Ola's loan terms give care hours of 9 am to 5 pm, though its wallet policy says 10 am to 7 pm. To escalate, email escalation@zipcash.in, then grievance officer Mrs. Aparna V S (080-37102429), who has 15 business days. If that fails, complain to the lender named in your KFS.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Ola loan safe and RBI registered?
Ola Financial Services, which runs loans in the Ola app, isn't a lender and says it isn't a regulated entity. The money comes from partners such as InCred Financial Services, Tata Capital, Credit Saison India and Poonawalla Fincorp, all in RBI's NBFC register. Check which lender is named on your offer and Key Fact Statement, and confirm it lists Ola on its own site, before you accept.
What does an Ola loan really cost?
As of October 2026, Ola doesn't publish an interest rate, processing fee or APR for its loans. Each partner lender sets its own price, and Ola's terms say charges are shown inside the app. Read the Key Fact Statement for the APR and the amount you'll receive after the fee and GST, then compare it with a direct quote from the same lender.
How much can I borrow through Ola, and for how long?
InCred's August 2024 tie-up with Ola allows personal loans of up to ₹10 lakh in the Ola app. Ola doesn't publish a minimum amount or a standard tenure. The only tenure we found, 6 to 84 months, belongs to IDFC FIRST Bank's Ola program, which no longer takes new customers. Your offer screen and KFS show the real limit and term.
Who is eligible for an Ola loan and what documents are needed?
Ola's own terms only ask that you're at least 18, an Indian resident and able to sign a contract. The lender decides whether you qualify, using your KYC and credit information. Expect Aadhaar OTP e-KYC or a CKYC check, a liveness check or video KYC, your bank account for the payout and an e-NACH mandate for repayments.
What is the Ola loan customer care number?
Ola Financial Services lists 080-37101888 and loans@olamoney.com for loan queries, and its loan terms say the line runs 9 am to 5 pm. The grievance officer, Aparna V S, is on 080-37102429 and grievance.officer@zipcash.in. If that doesn't work, complain to the lender named in your KFS, then to RBI's complaint portal.
Is Ola Money Postpaid a loan, and can it hurt my CIBIL score?
Yes, it's credit. Ola's Postpaid terms call it a short-term credit facility from a financial institution, and they allow unpaid dues to be reported to a credit rating agency. Late fees start at ₹75 on an overdue bill of ₹251 to ₹500 and rise the longer it stays unpaid. If a ride you paid for in cash still shows as due, raise it in writing straight away.
How do I file a complaint against Ola Loan?
Work the escalation ladder in order. First, raise the complaint with Ola Loan support (loans@olamoney.com) and insist on a written complaint reference number — a call with no reference number effectively did not happen. If it is unresolved, escalate to the grievance redressal officer at grievance.officer@zipcash.in. The regulated entity has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can complain free of cost to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — no lawyer is needed, and the decision is binding on the lender.
How do I stop harassment calls from Ola Loan recovery agents?
RBI's rules on recovery conduct are specific: agents may not call before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., may not use threats, abuse or intimidation, and may not contact people from your phonebook to shame you. Blanket access to your contacts and photos is prohibited for digital lenders. If this is happening, save the evidence — call logs, screenshots, recordings — and complain to the lender's grievance officer (grievance.officer@zipcash.in), then to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in if it continues. If the app is not a regulated entity at all, report it on the RBI Sachet portal (sachet.rbi.org.in) and to the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Harassment, morphed images and contact-list shaming are criminal offences regardless of whether you owe money.
