Loan app by Omnistack; RBI-registered NBFCs lend, but its ads clash with lender policy

This ZapCash app review covers interest rates, eligibility, charges, documents and real borrower feedback, along with the verified ZapCash customer care number, WhatsApp channel and support email — plus the RBI grievance route if a complaint is not resolved in 30 days.

ZapCash is a loan app run by Omnistack Innovation Private Limited, and the money comes from RBI-registered NBFCs: chiefly Weekline Investment & Trading Co. Limited, with BMW Fin-Invest as a second lender. What you most need to know is that the app advertises 12% to 30% a year over 3 to 60 months, while Weekline's own published policy prices payday loans at 0.10% to 1.00% per day, and recent borrowers describe loans lasting a few weeks.

This review checks both lenders against RBI's register, lays out what each source says a loan costs, and explains the disbursal, auto-debit and data-sharing complaints that dominate recent Play Store reviews, as of October 2026.

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 2.0/5

The terms promise disbursal within 2–24 hours, but many recent reviews describe days of waiting and repeated e-sign requests.

Interest & cost 1.0/5

The lender's own policy allows up to 1.00% per day on payday loans, far above the 12%–30% a year the app advertises.

App experience 2.0/5

KYC is fully digital, but borrowers report re-signing loops, tenures shrinking while they wait, and offers cut after approval.

Customer support 1.5/5

A phone line, emails and a named officer exist, yet reviewers repeatedly say calls and emails go unanswered.

Safety & transparency 2.0/5

Both lenders are in RBI's register and name ZapCash, but advertised terms clash with lender policy and data is shared widely.

Loan Details & Charges

Loan Amount Rs 5,000 – Rs 5,00,000 (advertised)
Interest Rate 12% – 30% p.a. advertised; lender policy prices payday loans at 0.10% – 1.00% per day
Tenure 3 – 60 months
Processing Fee Up to 5% + GST (Play listing)
Late Payment Play listing: 'as per loan agreement'. Weekline's published penal-charges policy: up to 1.25% per day on overdue principal.
Foreclosure Play listing advertises foreclosure and part-prepayment; Weekline's policy says it does not presently permit part-prepayment and foreclosure charges follow its Schedule of Charges.
Bounce Charges Not published by ZapCash; Weekline policy says 'As per Schedule of Charges' (no schedule found on its site).

Eligibility Criteria

Age 21+ years
Min Income Rs 16,000 per month
Employment Salaried, Self-employed
Documents PAN, Aadhaar (DigiLocker), last 3 months' bank statements (PDF), face-KYC selfie, Aadhaar-linked mobile number

What It Actually Costs

Loan amount ₹1,50,000
Tenure 36 months
Monthly EMI ₹5,729
Total interest ₹56,228
Processing fee ₹6,195 (3.5% = ₹5,250 + 18% GST ₹945), deducted upfront
Total repayment ₹2,06,228

Uses the inputs of ZapCash's own representative example (the listing rounds the EMI to ₹5,730); you would receive about ₹1,43,805. Recent borrowers instead describe small loans over a few weeks priced per day, so rely on the rupee figures in your Key Fact Statement.

Pros

  • Loans come from RBI-registered NBFCs: Weekline (Sl. 8409) and BMW Fin-Invest (Sl. 1233)
  • Both lenders name ZapCash as their digital lending partner on their own websites
  • Fully digital KYC with DigiLocker, PAN and a selfie; no collateral needed
  • Publishes a named grievance officer, a helpline and an RBI escalation route
  • Lender's recovery policy limits calls to 8 a.m.–7 p.m. and bars contact-list access

Cons

  • Advertised 12%–30% a year clashes with Weekline's 0.10%–1.00% per day payday pricing
  • Borrowers report loans of 13 to 39 days, though Play bars loans repaid in 60 days or less
  • Many reviews describe repeated e-sign requests and days without disbursal
  • Play Data safety says SMS, installed apps, location and device IDs may be shared
  • Late payment can cost up to 1.25% per day on overdue principal, per Weekline's policy

Our Verdict

ZapCash clears the first test that many small loan apps fail. Weekline Investment & Trading Co. Limited and BMW Fin-Invest Private Limited both appear in RBI's list of registered NBFCs as on 30 June 2026, neither is on the cancelled list, and both name ZapCash as their digital lending partner on their own websites. The trouble is what you are actually sold. The app advertises an EMI loan of up to ₹5,00,000 at 12% to 30% a year. Weekline's published rate matrix instead lists payday loans of 10 days to 12 months at up to 1.00% per day, its credit policy caps retail tenure at 12 months, and borrowers report loans of 13 to 39 days with heavy deductions. Add repeated e-sign loops, auto-debit mandates set before money arrives, and SMS and installed-app data declared as shared with third parties, and this is an expensive, unpredictable way to borrow. Borrow only after reading the Key Fact Statement and checking the rupee figures for amount received, total repayment and due date. If a bank or a larger NBFC app will lend to you, choose that instead.

Who ZapCash suits

Borrowers who need a small sum for a few weeks and have checked the KFS rupee figures
Salaried or self-employed applicants earning ₹16,000 a month or more
People who insist on a lender they can verify in RBI's register

Look elsewhere if

You want a genuine multi-month EMI loan at the advertised 12%–30% a year
An auto-debit hitting your account before payday would cause bounce charges
You do not want SMS or installed-app data shared with third parties

Things to Watch

  • Advertised terms (up to ₹5,00,000, 3 to 60 months, 12%–30% a year) contradict Weekline's own policy, which caps retail tenure at 12 months and prices payday loans per day.
  • Recent reviews describe loans of 13 to 39 days; Google Play bars personal-loan apps whose loans must be repaid in full in 60 days or less.
  • Auto-debit mandates are registered before disbursal; reviewers report double debits, a debit after the loan was closed, and bounce charges.
  • SMS and installed-app data are declared as shared with third parties, beyond the one-time camera, microphone and location access RBI's rules allow.
  • The same grievance officer and phone number (Prashant Kabra, 7665466546) appear for ZapCash and both lenders, while ZapCash's own lender page names a different officer for BMW Fin-Invest.

How to Apply for ZapCash

  1. 1

    Check the lender first

Make sure the lender named in the app and KFS is Weekline Investment & Trading or BMW Fin-Invest, both in RBI's NBFC register.

  2. 2

    Register and complete KYC

Sign up with your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, verify PAN, fetch Aadhaar through DigiLocker and take a live selfie.

Check the amount you will actually receive, the tenure in days, the total repayment, every fee and the APR, all in rupees.

  5. 5

    Watch the auto-debit

Note the mandate details. If the loan is not disbursed, ask ZapCash in writing to cancel the application and the mandate.

A live selfie for face KYC
An Aadhaar-linked mobile number

What Real Users Say

Play shows 3.8 from 2.96K reviews as of October 2026. Read it with care: a run of long, advert-like five-star reviews appeared on the evening of 28 September 2026, and one claims over a year of use of an app whose Play release date is 24 Feb 2026.

Recent Play reviews are sharply split: brief five-star praise sits beside a large block of one-star complaints about disbursal, cost and support.

What users love

Happy users mention quick approval, paperless KYC and fast credit once a loan goes through; a few say it lent to them despite a low credit score.

Common complaints

The commonest complaints are approved loans that never arrive after repeated e-signs, tenures shrinking day by day while borrowers wait, auto-debits left active or run twice, steep charges on short loans (one reviewer cites ₹2,670 interest on ₹7,500 for 35 days), and calls and emails going unanswered. Some mention too many collection calls.

How ZapCash Compares

vs KreditBee — Also an app lender for small and mid-size loans, but backed by its own group NBFC and partner lenders — compare its EMI terms before accepting a day-priced ZapCash offer.

vs MoneyView — A better fit if you want a longer EMI personal loan through an established platform with named bank and NBFC partners.

vs mPokket — For a small, quick sum, mPokket lends through its own RBI-registered NBFC; compare its fees and tenure with your ZapCash KFS.

How we tested

In early October 2026 we read ZapCash's website, terms, privacy and grievance pages, its Play listing and Data safety section, and several hundred of the newest dated Play reviews. We matched Weekline and BMW Fin-Invest against RBI's NBFC register and cancelled list as on 30 June 2026, and read both lenders' own websites, including Weekline's rate and credit policies. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory and MCA records would not load for us, so ZapCash's directory listing is unconfirmed. We did not take a loan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ZapCash safe and RBI registered?
ZapCash itself is not a lender; it is an app run by Omnistack Innovation. Loans come from Weekline Investment & Trading Co. Limited and BMW Fin-Invest Private Limited, both in RBI's NBFC register as on 30 June 2026, and both name ZapCash on their own websites. The lenders are genuine, but the app's advertised terms conflict with Weekline's policy, so read the KFS closely.
What does a ZapCash loan really cost?
The Play listing advertises 12% to 30% a year, a processing fee of up to 5% plus GST and a maximum APR of 45%. Weekline's own rate policy, however, prices payday loans at 0.10% to 1.00% per day, and one reviewer reports ₹2,670 interest on ₹7,500 for 35 days. Your Key Fact Statement, not the listing, shows the real cost.
How much can I borrow from ZapCash, and for how long?
ZapCash advertises ₹5,000 to ₹5,00,000 over 3 to 60 months. Weekline's policy lists payday loans of ₹5,000 to ₹1,00,000 for 10 days to 12 months and caps retail tenure at 12 months. Recent reviewers report small loans repaid in 13 to 39 days, so expect a short tenure unless your KFS clearly says otherwise.
Who is eligible for a ZapCash loan and what documents are needed?
The Play listing asks for age 21 or above (the website terms say 18), salaried or self-employed income of ₹16,000 a month or more, Indian residence and an Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Keep PAN, Aadhaar through DigiLocker, the last 3 months' bank statements in PDF and a live selfie ready. Your credit report is checked with the bureaus.
What is the ZapCash customer care number, and how do I complain?
Call +91 85030 90309 or email care@zapcash.in; grievances go to grievance@zapcash.in. With no reply in 3 working days, write to the grievance officer, Prashant Kabra, at pno@weekline.in or call 7665466546. If it is still unresolved after 30 days, complain free on RBI's portal at cms.rbi.org.in. Use only these published contacts.
Why does ZapCash keep asking me to e-sign again?
Many recent reviewers describe approved loans stuck in final review, followed by fresh e-sign requests, sometimes with a shorter tenure each time. ZapCash's replies ask users to email care@zapcash.in with their App ID. If this happens, stop re-signing, ask in writing for the status, and request cancellation of the auto-debit mandate if no money has arrived.
How do I file a complaint against ZapCash?
Work the escalation ladder in order. First, raise the complaint with ZapCash support (care@zapcash.in) and insist on a written complaint reference number — a call with no reference number effectively did not happen. If it is unresolved, escalate to the grievance redressal officer at grievance@zapcash.in. The regulated entity has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can complain free of cost to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — no lawyer is needed, and the decision is binding on the lender.
How do I stop harassment calls from ZapCash recovery agents?
RBI's rules on recovery conduct are specific: agents may not call before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., may not use threats, abuse or intimidation, and may not contact people from your phonebook to shame you. Blanket access to your contacts and photos is prohibited for digital lenders. If this is happening, save the evidence — call logs, screenshots, recordings — and complain to the lender's grievance officer (grievance@zapcash.in), then to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in if it continues. If the app is not a regulated entity at all, report it on the RBI Sachet portal (sachet.rbi.org.in) and to the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Harassment, morphed images and contact-list shaming are criminal offences regardless of whether you owe money.
