Fi Money App Reviews, Customer Care Number & Details

Neobank app that arranged partner loans; off Google Play and not lending as of 2026

This Fi Money app review covers interest rates, eligibility, charges, documents and real borrower feedback, along with the verified Fi Money customer care number and support email — plus the RBI grievance route if a complaint is not resolved in 30 days.

Reviewed by BankCreds App Review Team· App Review Analysts Updated 4 November 2026

Fi Money was a neobank app run by Epifi Technologies that arranged personal loans of up to ₹10 lakh from regulated partners, chief among them Stock Guardians (India) Private Limited, an RBI-registered NBFC that trades as Fi Loans. The thing to know as of November 2026 is that you can't borrow through Fi any more: the app has no Google Play listing, savings accounts moved to Federal Bank's FedMobile app, and Fi Loans took its loan dashboard out of the Fi app from 30 April 2026. If you already have a Fi loan, it hasn't vanished. Your rate, tenure and EMI dates stay as agreed, and the lender now deals with you by email. We read Fi's own pages, the lender's site, RBI's lists and dated news reports to set out where things stand.

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 1.0/5

Fi once quoted payouts in minutes, but with the app gone from Google Play there's no way to get a new loan through it.

Interest & cost 3.0/5

Fi's pages put partner rates at 12.75% to 36% a year, though Fi Loans' own policy runs from 18% to 45% with a fee of 2% to 4%.

App experience 1.0/5

The app is no longer listed on Google Play, and the loan dashboard was taken out of it from 30 April 2026.

Customer support 2.0/5

Loan help now runs by email, Fi's grievance page is a dead link, and two lists give different grievance officer names.

Safety & transparency 2.5/5

The lenders are regulated and Fi Loans publishes its rates and complaint levels, but the shutdown left stale loan ads online.

Loan Details & Charges

Loan Amount Up to ₹10,00,000
Interest Rate 12.75% to 36% a year
Tenure 6 months to 48 months
Processing Fee 1% to 4% + GST
Late Payment Typical penal charge 2% to 4% a month on the overdue EMI (Fi's loans page); Fi Loans (Stock Guardians) policy: 0.1% per day on the overdue amount.
Foreclosure Fi's FAQ: no preclosure charge except on loans disbursed through Federal Bank; its loans page says 0% to 4% of remaining principal where a lender has a lock-in. Fi Loans (Stock Guardians): preclosure fee zero; foreclose by email.
Bounce Charges ₹300 to ₹800 per EMI bounce + GST (Fi's loans page); ₹300 excluding GST in Fi Loans' (Stock Guardians) policy.

Eligibility Criteria

Min Income ₹20,000 per month
Documents PAN, Aadhaar, debit card or net banking for the repayment mandate; income proof through account aggregator or salary slip on some profiles

What It Actually Costs

Loan amount ₹1,00,000
Tenure 12 months
Monthly EMI ₹9,168
Total interest ₹10,016
Processing fee ₹2,000 + 18% GST = ₹2,360, deducted upfront
Total repayment ₹1,10,016

Illustrative: 18% a year and a 2% fee are the lowest in Fi Loans' published rate policy, so about ₹97,640 would reach your bank. Fi isn't taking new loans as of November 2026; this shows what an existing Fi Loans loan could cost.

Try the Fi Money EMI calculator

Pros

  • Loans came from regulated lenders: banks like Federal Bank and IDFC FIRST, and NBFCs on RBI's list
  • Fi Loans, the lender most tied to the app, is Stock Guardians, an RBI-registered NBFC
  • Existing loans keep their rate, tenure and EMI dates, and autopay carries on as before
  • Fi Loans' own policy lists no preclosure fee and no documentation fee
  • A written complaint ladder with named officers, ending at the RBI Ombudsman

Cons

  • No new loans: the Fi app has no Google Play listing as of November 2026
  • Fi's website still promotes loans of up to ₹10 lakh, but its download link goes nowhere
  • Servicing is by email only now, with no app screen for statements or payments
  • Fi Loans' rate policy runs from 18% to 45% a year, well above Fi's 12.75% headline
  • Grievance officer names differ between the Fi Loans page and a lending partner's list

Our Verdict

Fi Money was a real company, and its loans came from regulated lenders. Its privacy policy names Federal Bank and IDFC FIRST Bank, NBFCs such as Aditya Birla Capital, Earlysalary Services (Fibe), InCred and Stock Guardians, and two peer-to-peer platforms, LiquiLoans and LenDenClub. Stock Guardians, which calls Fi Loans its brand, sits on RBI's NBFC list as on 30 September 2026. You can't use Fi for a new loan now, though. The app's Google Play page is gone, and the download button on Fi's site leads to store pages that don't exist. Federal Bank took the savings accounts onto its own app in March 2026, and Fi Loans says its loan dashboard left the Fi app from 30 April 2026. Fi's loan pages still talk about getting money in minutes, so read them as leftover copy, not a live offer. If you owe Fi Loans money, keep paying. Your terms don't change, autopay keeps running, and statements, part-payments and foreclosure are handled by email. If you need a new loan, choose a regulated lender that's still active and read its Key Fact Statement before you sign.

Who Fi Money suits

Existing Fi Loans borrowers who want to know their loan still runs on the same terms
Former Fi users checking which lender holds their loan before they pay or close it

Look elsewhere if

You want a new personal loan: Fi isn't offering one through its app as of November 2026
You want an app to track and repay a loan; Fi's loan dashboard is gone
You want quick help by chat or phone on a loan; Fi Loans now handles most queries by email

Not sure the app is genuine? Is Fi Money real or fake? How to check it yourself

Things to Watch

  • The Fi app is gone from Google Play and its loan dashboard was removed from 30 April 2026, so existing loans are now serviced by email only
  • Fi's website still advertises instant loans even though the app is gone, which can mislead borrowers and gives impersonators a ready script
  • Inc42 reported in February 2026 that it found no evidence of Fi holding an NBFC licence; the NBFC behind Fi Loans is Stock Guardians, and we couldn't confirm its owner from MCA records
  • Rates and fees on Fi's pages differ from Fi Loans' own policy, so only your loan agreement and KFS bind
  • LenDenClub (Innofin Solutions), one of Fi's peer-to-peer partners, was fined by RBI in August 2024 for breaking P2P and digital lending rules

How to Apply for Fi Money

  1. 1

Don't install Fi from a link

Fi has no Google Play listing now, so any Fi Money app or loan offer sent by SMS, WhatsApp or an APK link isn't a real Fi channel.

  2. 2

    Find your lender

Check your loan agreement or Key Fact Statement for the lender: Fi Loans (Stock Guardians), a bank or another NBFC.

  3. 3

    Contact the lender by email

For a Fi Loans loan, email the servicing team from your registered email ID to ask for a statement, a part-payment link or foreclosure.

  4. 4

    Keep your autopay funded

Your e-mandate still runs. If an EMI bounces, Fi Loans says it sends a payment link by email and SMS within 24 hours.

  5. 5

For a new loan, go elsewhere

Pick an active, RBI-regulated lender and read its KFS before you accept. Fi can't take new loan applications through its app.

Documents Required

PAN card
Aadhaar
Debit card or net banking login for the repayment mandate
Income proof through the account aggregator system or salary slips, if the lender asks

What Real Users Say

Ratings read from an Internet Archive copy of the Google Play listing captured on 12 January 2026; the live listing returned a not-found page on 4 November 2026. Those ratings mostly reflect the banking app, not loans.

With the app off Google Play there are no live ratings to read. The last archived listing, from January 2026, showed 3.8 stars from 288K reviews and 10M+ downloads.

What users love

We found no dated 2026 praise. The testimonials on Fi's own site talk about the debit card, forex and rewards, not loans.

Common complaints

The newest reviews we could see, from November 2025 and January 2026, describe money stuck in the account, blocked transactions and support tickets closed without a fix.

How Fi Money Compares

vs Moneyview — Moneyview still runs its own personal loan app and was a referral partner in Fi's privacy policy, so it's a familiar next stop for salaried borrowers.

vs Navi — Navi lends through its own app, so you deal with one regulated group from application to the last EMI instead of a middle app.

vs IDFC FIRST Bank — IDFC FIRST Bank was one of Fi's lending partners; borrowing from the bank directly cuts out the app that has now shut.

How we tested

We checked in November 2026. On 4 November we read Fi's home page, loans page, contact page, terms and privacy policy, followed its app download links and opened its Google Play listing. We read the Fi Loans site run by Stock Guardians, including its FAQs, complaint levels and rate policy, and matched every lender against RBI's NBFC list as on 30 September 2026 and RBI's list of banks. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory didn't load, MCA records weren't readable, and we didn't take a loan.

Fi Money (Epifi Technologies) Customer Support Details

Fi's app is gone from Google Play, and Fi publishes no phone line of its own, so email is now the practical route. For a Fi Loans personal loan, write from your registered email ID. Stock Guardians, the lender behind Fi Loans, lists its own support email and a phone line, 080-47485490. Federal Bank now handles savings accounts through FedMobile and its toll-free numbers. If a loan complaint stalls, go to the lender's Principal Nodal Officer, then RBI's ombudsman after 30 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Fi Money safe and RBI registered?
Fi Money itself isn't a bank or an NBFC. Epifi Technologies ran the app as a lending service provider, and loans came from regulated partners such as Federal Bank, IDFC FIRST Bank and Stock Guardians (India) Private Limited, which trades as Fi Loans and is on RBI's NBFC list as on 30 September 2026. As of November 2026, though, the app is off Google Play and isn't taking new loans.
What did a Fi Money loan really cost?
Fi's loans page says partner rates start at 12.75% a year and usually run from 12% to 36%, with processing fees of 1% to 4%. Fi Loans' own policy is higher: 18% to 45% a year, a 2% to 4% fee plus taxes, and penal charges of 0.1% a day on overdue amounts. Your loan agreement shows the rate you actually got.
How much could you borrow through Fi, and for how long?
Fi said users could get up to ₹10 lakh, with pre-approved loans repaid over 6 months to 4 years, and it set a minimum income of ₹20,000 a month. Fi Loans' rate policy covers loans of 1 to 60 months. None of this helps a new borrower now, because you can't apply through the Fi app as of November 2026.
What documents and eligibility did Fi ask for?
Fi listed a PAN, Aadhaar and a debit card or net banking login to set up the repayment mandate. On some profiles the lender also checked income through the account aggregator system or salary slips. The minimum income was ₹20,000 a month. Fi's loans page didn't publish an age range or a minimum credit score.
How do I contact Fi Money customer care about my loan?
For a Fi Loans loan, email Fi's grievance officer address from your registered email ID; that inbox handles statements, queries and foreclosure. Stock Guardians, the lender, also lists a support email and a Mumbai number for part-payments and second-level complaints. If that fails, write to its Principal Nodal Officer, and after 30 days complain to the RBI Ombudsman.
Is Fi Money shutting down?
Fi ended banking on its app in March 2026, and Federal Bank savings accounts now run through the FedMobile app. Its Google Play listing is gone, and Fi Loans took the loan dashboard out of the app from 30 April 2026. News reports say the company is moving into AI work for businesses. Existing loans carry on under their original terms.
How do I file a complaint against Fi Money?
Work the escalation ladder in order. First, raise the complaint with Fi Money support (help@fi.care) and insist on a written complaint reference number — a call with no reference number effectively did not happen. If it is unresolved, escalate to the grievance redressal officer at grievanceofficer@fi.care. The regulated entity has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can complain free of cost to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — no lawyer is needed, and the decision is binding on the lender.
How do I stop harassment calls from Fi Money recovery agents?
RBI's rules on recovery conduct are specific: agents may not call before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., may not use threats, abuse or intimidation, and may not contact people from your phonebook to shame you. Blanket access to your contacts and photos is prohibited for digital lenders. If this is happening, save the evidence — call logs, screenshots, recordings — and complain to the lender's grievance officer (grievanceofficer@fi.care), then to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in if it continues. If the app is not a regulated entity at all, report it on the RBI Sachet portal (sachet.rbi.org.in) and to the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Harassment, morphed images and contact-list shaming are criminal offences regardless of whether you owe money.
