Capital Now (the company also writes it CapitalNow) is a Hyderabad loan app run by Finxer Technologies Private Limited, which arranges loans but doesn't lend. The money comes from Goldline Finance Private Limited, an NBFC in RBI's register, and the app also names Anu Colonisers Limited. The one thing to know: in its own sample, 24% interest is charged on the full ₹50,000 for all six months, so the real yearly cost is well above the headline rate. It's built for salaried people earning ₹22,000 a month or more, with loans up to ₹1,50,000 over 3 to 6 months. As of November 2026 the Play rating is 4.7, but the newest reviews look heavily prompted, and complaints about loans stuck under review keep coming in.

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 2.5/5

It promises money within 10 minutes, but many October 2026 reviews describe loans stuck under review for hours or days.

Interest & cost 2.0/5

The sample charges 24% a year flat on the full amount plus a ₹2,500 fee and GST, and APR can reach 41.08%.

App experience 3.0/5

The paperless flow and auto-debit EMIs are simple, though users report eNACH failures and slow verification.

Customer support 2.0/5

Complaints go to one email inbox, Play replies are a template, and the grievance desk works weekdays only.

Safety & transparency 2.5/5

Goldline is RBI-registered and confirms the app, but the partner claims, data disclosures and recovery complaints don't line up.

Loan Details & Charges

Loan Amount ₹5,000 to ₹1,50,000
Interest Rate From 18% a year
Tenure 3 months to 6 months
Processing Fee No fee range published
Late Payment Goldline Finance policy: from the day after the due date, ₹25 or 0.15% of the EMI amount per day (whichever is higher) as penal charges; on day 7, a one-time late fee of ₹150 or 1% of the EMI amount (whichever is higher). Interest keeps accruing on the overdue EMI at the loan rate.
Foreclosure Zero pre-closure or foreclosure charges (FAQ, Play, home page). 3-day cooling-off exit after disbursal by repaying principal and proportionate APR, penalty-free (terms).
Bounce Charges No separate bounce charge published; Goldline says penal charges apply only when a repayment is missed and are shown in the loan agreement and KFS.

Eligibility Criteria

Age 21+ years
Min Income ₹22,000 per month
CIBIL Score 650+
Employment Salaried only
Documents PAN, Aadhaar (or passport) for address, recent salary slips (FAQ data: last 3 months) or income proof, bank statements, bank account for payout and eNACH, employer details and company email (Goldline's list), reference contacts

What It Actually Costs

Loan amount ₹50,000
Tenure 6 months
Monthly EMI ₹9,333 (Capital Now's own figure)
Total interest ₹6,000 (flat: 24% a year on the full ₹50,000 for six months)
Processing fee ₹2,500 + ₹450 GST = ₹2,950 (assumed deducted upfront; the sample doesn't say)
Total repayment ₹56,000

This is Capital Now's own Play sample, which says 24% p.a. Its ₹6,000 interest is 24% flat on the full ₹50,000, which works out to about 40.05% a year on a reducing balance (the rate used here); at a true 24% the EMI would be about ₹8,926. If the fee comes off the payout, you receive ₹47,050 and repay ₹56,000, a total cost of ₹8,950.

Pros

  • Loans come from Goldline Finance, an RBI-registered NBFC that names Capital Now on its own website
  • Zero pre-closure charges, so you can repay early without a penalty
  • A 3-day cooling-off exit: repay principal and proportionate APR with no penalty
  • Fully digital: PAN and Aadhaar KYC, auto-debit EMIs, no branch visit
  • Grievance officer and nodal officer are named, with phone numbers and emails

Cons

  • Sample interest is flat on the full ₹50,000, so the true yearly cost is higher than 24%
  • APR can go up to 41.08%, plus a ₹2,500 fee and GST on the ₹50,000 sample
  • Short loans only: 3 to 6 months and up to ₹1,50,000
  • Income rule differs: ₹22,000 on Capital Now's pages, ₹30,000 on Goldline's
  • Recent reviews report loans stuck under review despite the 10-minute claim

Our Verdict

Capital Now is a real, working platform with a regulated lender behind it. Goldline Finance's own website names Finxer Technologies as its lending service provider and Capital Now as its app, and Goldline sits in RBI's NBFC list under the New Delhi office. That's the basic test, and it passes. The rest is patchy. Capital Now calls Goldline "systemically important", yet RBI places it in the Base layer, and Goldline's own pricing policy quotes the rules for non-systemically important NBFCs. The home page shows Credit Saison as a partner, but Credit Saison's partner list doesn't mention Capital Now, and we couldn't find a website for Anu Colonisers. The sample loan uses flat interest. The Play Data safety form lists only device IDs. And the terms say some processing fees are paid to Finxer itself, which RBI's digital lending rules say an LSP shouldn't collect from borrowers. If you're salaried and need a small sum for a few months, it can work. Before you sign, read the Key Fact Statement, check which lender's name is on it, and compare the total cost in rupees with a bigger regulated app.

Who Capital Now suits

Salaried people earning ₹22,000 or more who need a small amount for 3 to 6 months
Borrowers who expect to repay early, since there's no pre-closure charge
People happy to deal with support mainly by email

Look elsewhere if

Anyone who needs more than ₹1,50,000 or longer than 6 months
Borrowers who want a lender that publishes a reducing-balance rate range on its own site
Self-employed applicants, since Capital Now asks for salaried income

Not sure the app is genuine? Is Capital Now real or fake? How to check it yourself

Things to Watch

  • Calls Goldline "systemically important", but RBI lists it in the Base layer and Goldline cites non-SI rules
  • Shows Credit Saison as a partner on its home page, but Credit Saison's partner list doesn't name Capital Now
  • Play Data safety lists only device IDs, while the privacy policy collects PAN, Aadhaar, bank and location data
  • Terms say borrowers pay some processing fees to Finxer; RBI says LSP fees must come from the lender
  • Many prompted-looking five-star reviews, plus 2026 reports of recovery calls to relatives and a spouse

Bank statements
Employer details and a work email

What Real Users Say

Read on Google Play on 4 November 2026. Most of the newest five-star posts are only a few words, several repeat the same sentence, some copy the app's own description, and one one-star review just says "Task Complete".

Capital Now shows 4.7 stars from 10,646 ratings on Google Play, but the flood of recent five-star posts looks prompted, and the reviews that describe real loans are far more mixed.

What users love

Happy users mention paperless KYC, a quick payout once approved, and an assigned manager who helped with verification and repayment questions.

Common complaints

Loans approved but stuck under review for hours or days, eNACH failures, limits that don't grow, closed loans not updated on CIBIL, one loan reported under two lenders, and recovery calls to relatives or a spouse after missed EMIs.

How Capital Now Compares

vs CASHe — CASHe also lends short term to salaried people, so put its KFS APR next to Capital Now's flat-rate sample.

vs KreditBee — KreditBee is a larger regulated app for small personal loans; compare its tenure options and total cost in rupees.

vs LendingPlate — LendingPlate serves salaried borrowers with similar loan sizes, so get both offers before you accept either.

How we tested

On 4 November 2026 we read Capital Now's website, terms, privacy, grievance and responsible-lending pages, its Google Play and App Store listings, the Play Data safety and permissions lists, and the newest Play reviews back to late June 2026. We found Goldline Finance, Anu Colonisers and Kisetsu Saison in RBI's NBFC list as on 30 September 2026 and read Goldline's partner, pricing and grievance pages. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory didn't load, and we couldn't open MCA records. Everything was checked in November 2026. We didn't take a loan.

If nothing moves, call grievance officer Akshitha Shetty on 7207771930, weekdays 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, then write to nodal officer Mahathi Cholasamudram at grievance@capitalnow.in. Frequently Asked Questions

Is Capital Now safe and RBI registered?
Capital Now itself isn't RBI registered; it's a loan service provider run by Finxer Technologies. The lender is Goldline Finance Private Limited, which appears in RBI's NBFC list and names Capital Now as its app on its own website. The app also lists Anu Colonisers Limited, another registered NBFC. So the setup is regulated, but check the lender named on your Key Fact Statement before you sign.
What does a Capital Now loan really cost?
Capital Now's own sample is ₹50,000 for 6 months at 24% a year, with a ₹2,500 processing fee plus ₹450 GST. Interest comes to ₹6,000, the EMI is ₹9,333 and you repay ₹56,000. That interest is worked out on the full amount, not the falling balance. The stated APR is 36.30%, and the app says APR can reach 41.08%. Your own KFS shows your real figures.
How much can I borrow from Capital Now, and for how long?
Capital Now offers personal loans up to ₹1,50,000, and Goldline's own page says loans start at ₹5,000. EMI tenure is 3 to 6 months on the app listings and home page, though the site's schema data mentions up to 36 months, and its FAQ says a ₹5,000 loan is repaid in one go. Treat 6 months as the usual limit as of November 2026.
Who can apply for a Capital Now loan, and what documents do I need?
Capital Now says you must be an Indian citizen aged 21 or older, salaried, and earning at least ₹22,000 a month. Goldline's own page asks for ₹30,000, so the bar may be higher than the app suggests. Keep your PAN, Aadhaar, recent salary slips and bank statements ready. A credit score of 650 or more helps, although the app says people with no score can apply.
How do I complain to Capital Now?
Email support@capitalnow.in with your Loan ID; that inbox also serves grievance officer Akshitha Shetty, who is on 7207771930 on weekdays from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. If you're not satisfied, escalate to nodal officer Mahathi Cholasamudram at grievance@capitalnow.in or 7032790066, and to Goldline Finance's grievance team. If 30 days pass without a fix, complain to the RBI Ombudsman.
Why does my Capital Now loan show Goldline Finance or Anu Colonisers?
Because Capital Now doesn't lend; it arranges loans for NBFC partners. Goldline Finance is the main lender, and the Play listing also names Anu Colonisers Limited. One reviewer in September 2026 said a single loan appeared on their credit report under both names. If your report shows a closed loan as active, raise it with the grievance officer and the credit bureau, quoting your Loan ID.
What is the Capital Now customer care number?
The Capital Now customer care number is +91 7075463172. You can also email support@capitalnow.in. Always cross-check this against the number shown inside the Capital Now app before calling — fake customer-care numbers are one of India's most common financial frauds, and no genuine lender will ever ask you for an OTP, PIN or card details.
How do I file a complaint against Capital Now?
Work the escalation ladder in order. First, raise the complaint with Capital Now support (support@capitalnow.in) and insist on a written complaint reference number — a call with no reference number effectively did not happen. If it is unresolved, escalate to the grievance redressal officer at grievance@capitalnow.in. The regulated entity has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can complain free of cost to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — no lawyer is needed, and the decision is binding on the lender.
How do I stop harassment calls from Capital Now recovery agents?
RBI's rules on recovery conduct are specific: agents may not call before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., may not use threats, abuse or intimidation, and may not contact people from your phonebook to shame you. Blanket access to your contacts and photos is prohibited for digital lenders. If this is happening, save the evidence — call logs, screenshots, recordings — and complain to the lender's grievance officer (grievance@capitalnow.in), then to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in if it continues. If the app is not a regulated entity at all, report it on the RBI Sachet portal (sachet.rbi.org.in) and to the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Harassment, morphed images and contact-list shaming are criminal offences regardless of whether you owe money.
