Lendingkart is a business-loan app for small firms and self-employed owners, and the money comes from Lendingkart Finance Limited, the group's own NBFC on RBI's register. What you most need to know is that the price swings widely: the published band runs from 13.5% to 35% a year, and fees come out of the loan before it reaches you. The website offers unsecured loans of ₹1,00,000 to ₹50,00,000 over 1 to 3 years, with no foreclosure charge once the first EMI is paid. The Play listing quotes ₹50 thousand to ₹2 crore over 6 to 36 months instead. We tested those terms against Lendingkart's own charge schedule, RBI's register and recent Play reviews, as of November 2026.

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 3.0/5

Lendingkart says money arrives within 3 working days of approval, but reviewers describe rejections after documents were taken and 'pre-approved' top-ups that still needed papers.

Interest & cost 2.5/5

A 13.5% to 35% band plus a fee of up to 3% and GST, a ₹1,200 documentation charge and optional insurance, and the Play example works out well above its stated APR.

App experience 2.5/5

The app holds 3.5 stars from 23.6K reviews, and recent ones report login loops, crashes and statements that never arrive.

Customer support 2.5/5

A toll-free line, WhatsApp and a four-level ladder with named officers, yet reviewers say NOCs and closure letters take months and messages go unanswered.

Safety & transparency 4.0/5

A Middle Layer NBFC on RBI's register that names its agents and partners, held back by conflicting terms, heavy losses and a Play note that data isn't encrypted in transit.

Loan amount ₹5,00,000
Tenure 24 months
Monthly EMI ₹26,436
Total interest ₹1,34,464
Processing fee ₹17,700 (3% = ₹15,000 + 18% GST of ₹2,700), deducted upfront, plus a ₹1,200 documentation charge
Total repayment ₹6,34,464

Illustrative at 24% a year, inside Lendingkart's published 13.5% to 35% band, with the 3% fee cap from its schedule of charges: you receive about ₹4,81,100 but repay EMIs on the full ₹5,00,000, an APR of about 28%. On Lendingkart's own Play example, ₹93,500 received against 12 EMIs of ₹9,967 works out to about 48% APR.

Pros

  • The lender is Lendingkart Finance Limited, a Middle Layer NBFC on RBI's register
  • Unsecured business loans of ₹1,00,000 to ₹50,00,000 with no property or gold pledged
  • No foreclosure charge on unsecured business loans once the first EMI is paid
  • Toll-free line, WhatsApp and a four-level complaint ladder with named officers
  • Publishes its 115 recovery agencies, channel partners and co-lending banks by name

Cons

  • Its own pages clash: rates from 13.5% or 17.25% a year, or 1.25% a month, and fee caps of 3% or 4%
  • In the Play example ₹10,500 is kept back from a ₹1,04,000 loan, so only ₹93,500 reaches you
  • Late payment costs 0.1% a day on the overdue amount plus ₹300 for each missed instalment
  • Recent Play reviews are mostly one-star, citing NOC delays and loans left open after the last EMI
  • Play's data-safety section says data isn't encrypted in transit and location may be shared

Our Verdict

Lendingkart is a real, regulated lender. Lendingkart Finance Limited is a Middle Layer NBFC in RBI's register, and it publishes the names of its recovery agencies, channel partners and co-lending banks. Complaints climb a four-level ladder with named officers and set deadlines. In March 2025, Fullerton Financial Holdings, a Temasek company, took a majority stake. Cost and clarity are the weak spots. Its own pages give starting rates of 13.5%, 17.25% and 1.25% a month, and fee caps of 3% plus GST or 4%. The Play listing's worked example keeps back ₹10,500 of a ₹1,04,000 loan, which by our maths is about 48% APR, far above the 22% to 32% printed beside it. Late payment costs 0.1% a day plus ₹300 per missed instalment. Most recent Play reviews are one-star, citing slow NOCs, loans left open after the last EMI and recovery calls to relatives. The lender is shrinking too, with assets under management down from ₹5,000 crore to ₹1,308 crore in a year. It suits a trading business that needs ₹1 lakh or more without collateral and may repay early. Get the APR in your KFS, in writing, before you e-sign.

Who Lendingkart suits

Proprietors, partnerships, LLPs and companies that have traded for at least 12 months
Businesses with ₹75,000 or more in turnover over the last three months and clean bank statements
Owners who need ₹1 lakh to ₹50 lakh for working capital without pledging property
Borrowers who may close early, since unsecured business loans carry no foreclosure charge

Look elsewhere if

You need money for personal use: Lendingkart lends for business, and its personal loans run through a separate app, Upwards
Your business is under 12 months old, or it is a trust, NGO or charity
Your KFS shows an APR near the top of the 13.5% to 35% band, or you can't get the APR in writing

Things to Watch

  • The Play listing's worked example doesn't add up: 12 EMIs of ₹9,967 on ₹93,500 received come to about 48% APR, not the 22% to 32% it prints.
  • Lendingkart's own pages disagree on the basics: ₹1,00,000 to ₹50,00,000 over 1 to 3 years on the website, ₹50 thousand to ₹2 crore over 6 to 36 months on Play.
  • The lender is under strain: a ₹333 crore loss in FY26 after ₹288 crore in FY25, and FY26 disbursements of ₹263 crore against ₹1,855 crore a year earlier.
  • Reviewers describe recovery calls to relatives, loans still open after the final EMI and NOCs held back for months, though Lendingkart's own code limits calls to 8 am to 7 pm.
  • The brand is used in fraud: in October 2026 Delhi Police arrested a man over a ₹7.30 lakh Lendingkart loan taken in a woman's company name with forged documents.

How to Apply for Lendingkart

  1. 1

    Check that you qualify

Your business should be at least 12 months old, with ₹75,000 or more in turnover over the last three months. Trusts, NGOs and charities can't apply.

  2. 2

Apply in the app or on the website

Enter your name as on PAN, mobile, email, business type and PIN code, then agree to a credit-bureau check and a GSTIN fetch from your PAN.

  3. 3

    Share bank statements and KYC

Upload or link 12 months of bank statements (Account Aggregator works), business registration proof and the owner's PAN and Aadhaar.

  4. 4

Read the KFS before you e-sign

Check the APR, the fee and documentation charge kept back, any insurance added and the EMI date. The KFS stays valid for at least 3 working days, so take your time.

Documents Required

Last 12 months' bank statements for the business account
Business registration proof: GST filing, trade licence, Gumasta, drug licence, TIN or VAT registration
Company PAN card copy
Proprietors: PAN and Aadhaar; partnerships: the partnership deed
For some profiles, ITRs and profit and loss statements for the past 2 years

What Real Users Say

On 4 November 2026 the app showed 3.5 stars from 23.6K reviews and 10L+ downloads, last updated 26 October 2026. New reviews are sparse and mostly one-star, and several five-star entries are one or two words, so read the written complaints rather than the average.

Recent Play reviews of the Lendingkart app lean heavily negative, and most complaints are about what happens after the loan: closing it, getting the NOC and handling calls.

What users love

Happy reviewers mention a fast, simple process with few documents and call it a good app for small business owners, though many five-star posts are a single word.

Common complaints

NOCs and closure statements delayed for months after the last EMI; loans still shown as open, with payment links for the full amount; recovery calls to relatives; rejections after documents were shared; a 'pre-approved' top-up that still needed papers; disputed late charges; and login loops in the app.

How Lendingkart Compares

vs FlexiLoans — Another digital lender to small businesses; get its KFS for the same amount and compare the APR, not the headline rate.

vs NeoGrowth — An RBI-registered NBFC focused on retail merchants, worth a quote if most of your sales come in through card or digital payments.

vs Aye Finance — A listed, RBI-registered NBFC for micro businesses; compare its pre-closure terms, since Lendingkart charges none on unsecured loans.

How we tested

Everything here was checked in November 2026. On 4 November 2026 we read Lendingkart's business-loan, interest-rate, eligibility, schedule-of-charges, digital-lending, complaint and fraud pages, its board policy on charges, its Fair Practices Code and its FY26 annual report. We checked RBI's NBFC register as on 30 September 2026, the Play listing, its data-safety page and a year of dated reviews, plus Inc42 and ANI reports. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory would not load, and we took no loan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Lendingkart safe and RBI registered?
Yes, the lender is regulated. Loans come from Lendingkart Finance Limited, which RBI's register lists as a Middle Layer NBFC under its Mumbai office, formerly named Aadri Infin Limited. The app is run by its parent, Lendingkart Technologies. Regulated doesn't mean cheap, so compare the APR on your Key Fact Statement with one other lender's before you sign.
What does a Lendingkart business loan really cost?
Lendingkart's schedule of charges puts unsecured business loans at 13.5% to 35% a year, with a processing fee of up to 3% plus GST and a ₹1,200 documentation charge, both kept back from the payout. Optional insurance can be added. On ₹5,00,000 over 24 months at 24%, the EMI is ₹26,436 and you'd repay ₹6,34,464 in all.
How much can I borrow from Lendingkart, and for how long?
The website offers ₹1,00,000 to ₹50,00,000 over 1 to 3 years, repaid in monthly EMIs, with no collateral. The Play listing says ₹50 thousand to ₹2 crore over 6 to 36 months, so the two don't match. Your actual limit depends on turnover, bank statements and credit history, and your sanction letter is what counts.
Who can get a Lendingkart loan, and what documents are needed?
Your business must have run for at least 12 months, with turnover of ₹75,000 or more in the three months before you apply, and you should be 18 to 65. Proprietors, partnerships, LLPs and companies qualify; trusts, NGOs and charities don't. Keep 12 months of bank statements, registration proof such as a GST filing, the company PAN and the owner's PAN and Aadhaar ready.
What is the Lendingkart customer care number, and how do I complain?
Call the toll-free number, 1800 572 0202, message WhatsApp on +91 77788 67631 or email care@lendingkart.com. If it isn't fixed in 15 days, write to the Grievance Redressal Officer, Ketan Sali, at grievance.redressal@lendingkart.com, then to the Principal Nodal Officer. Still stuck after 30 days? Complain to RBI's Integrated Ombudsman.
Does Lendingkart ask for a fee before it disburses the loan?
No. Lendingkart says it charges no processing fee before disbursal, and that neither it nor its representatives ask for payments or commission to sanction a loan. Its fees are deducted from the loan when it's paid out. Anyone asking you to pay first, especially into a personal account or UPI ID, isn't acting for Lendingkart, so report it on 1800 572 0202.
How do I file a complaint against Lendingkart?
Work the escalation ladder in order. First, raise the complaint with Lendingkart support (care@lendingkart.com) and insist on a written complaint reference number — a call with no reference number effectively did not happen. If it is unresolved, escalate to the grievance redressal officer at grievance.redressal@lendingkart.com. The regulated entity has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can complain free of cost to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — no lawyer is needed, and the decision is binding on the lender.
How do I stop harassment calls from Lendingkart recovery agents?
RBI's rules on recovery conduct are specific: agents may not call before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., may not use threats, abuse or intimidation, and may not contact people from your phonebook to shame you. Blanket access to your contacts and photos is prohibited for digital lenders. If this is happening, save the evidence — call logs, screenshots, recordings — and complain to the lender's grievance officer (grievance.redressal@lendingkart.com), then to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in if it continues. If the app is not a regulated entity at all, report it on the RBI Sachet portal (sachet.rbi.org.in) and to the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Harassment, morphed images and contact-list shaming are criminal offences regardless of whether you owe money.
