Godrej Priority Money is the personal loan that Godrej Finance Limited sells through its own website, and Godrej Finance, an NBFC on RBI's register, lends the money itself. There's no Priority Money app on Google Play, so the first thing to know is simple: apply only through the Godrej Capital or Godrej Finance website, and treat any Priority Money APK or WhatsApp loan offer with suspicion. The loan is meant for salaried people aged 25 to 58 with a CIBIL score of 700 or more and at least ₹50,000 a month in income. Godrej quotes ₹1 lakh to ₹60 lakh over 12 to 84 months at 10.99% to 18% a year, with a fee of up to 4% plus GST. We read every Godrej page we could find as of November 2026, and the charges don't always match.

Quick Facts

Max Loan

Processing Fee

Our Ratings

Disbursal speed 3.5/5

Godrej promises money in 10 minutes, but another of its pages says within 24 hours of approval, and there are no borrower reports to test either claim.

Interest & cost 3.5/5

A published 10.99% to 18% range is low for an unsecured loan, but a fee of up to 4% plus GST and the 2% yearly Flexi Fund charge add up.

App experience 3.0/5

There is no app; the whole journey runs on a website, with PAN, Aadhaar, DigiLocker and a video KYC that needs your physical PAN card.

Customer support 3.0/5

Phone and email run seven days a week with named grievance and nodal officers, but Godrej's pages give two different sets of hours.

Safety & transparency 4.0/5

An RBI-registered NBFC lends directly and names the web journey as its own, though its charge sheets contradict each other.

Loan Details & Charges

Loan Amount ₹1,00,000 to ₹60,00,000
Interest Rate 10.99% to 18% a year
Tenure 12 months to 84 months
Processing Fee 0% to 4% + GST
Late Payment 3% of the total EMI outstanding (principal + interest) in the personal loan schedule of charges; the FAQs say 3% per month (36% per annum) on the overdue amount from the date of default. Godrej Finance's rate and charges policy and its general charges table say 2% of the total EMI outstanding.
Foreclosure Depends on the variant. FAQs: the Zero Foreclosure variant can be closed free after the 3-day cooling-off; standard variants are free in the first 3 months, then 2% + GST of the outstanding amount. Schedule of charges: up to 4% of principal outstanding (term loan) or 4% of the withdrawal limit (Flexi Funds). Part-prepayment: up to 25% of the outstanding a year free, then 2% + GST (FAQs) vs up to 4% of the amount prepaid (schedule). Cancellation within 3 calendar days of first disbursement is free, but the processing fee is kept.
Bounce Charges ₹1,000 + GST for each bounced EMI presentation (first and second presentation each month), plus a ₹100 NACH re-presentation charge (FAQs) and your bank's own charges at actuals

Eligibility Criteria

Age 25-58 years
Min Income ₹50,000 per month
CIBIL Score 700+
Employment Salaried only, with at least one year of total work experience; self-employed applicants are not eligible at present (FAQs)
Documents PAN and Aadhaar; your physical PAN card, shown during the video KYC; a DigiLocker account for KYC; income checked from a bank statement or through an Account Aggregator; a mobile number linked to your PAN

What It Actually Costs

Loan amount ₹5,00,000
Tenure 36 months
Monthly EMI ₹18,076
Total interest ₹1,50,743
Processing fee ₹20,000 + 18% GST = ₹23,600, deducted upfront
Total repayment ₹6,50,743

Illustrative: 18% is the top of Godrej's published range and 4% its highest standard fee, so about ₹4,76,400 reaches your bank. At the 10.99% floor the EMI would be ₹16,367, and on the Zero Processing Fee variant the full ₹5,00,000 would reach you.

Pros

  • Lent directly by Godrej Finance, an RBI-registered NBFC in the Middle layer
  • Published rate of 10.99% to 18% a year, fixed for the whole tenure
  • Large loans for salaried borrowers: ₹1 lakh to ₹60 lakh over 12 to 84 months
  • Zero Processing Fee and Zero Foreclosure variants if you choose them at the start
  • A 3-day cooling-off window to cancel by repaying, with no prepayment penalty

Cons

  • No Google Play app, so there are no store reviews to show how real borrowers fare
  • Charges differ across Godrej's own pages: fee up to 2% or 4%, late penalty 2% or 3%
  • Flexi Fund variants carry a 2% yearly maintenance charge on the limit, used or not
  • Only for salaried people earning at least ₹50,000 a month with a 700+ CIBIL score
  • A missed EMI costs ₹1,000 plus GST per bounce and a 3% penalty on the overdue sum

Our Verdict

Godrej Priority Money is real and regulated. Godrej Finance sits in the Middle layer of RBI's NBFC list, it lends the money itself, and its own list of digital lending partners names Priority Money as a self-owned web journey. The company also declares that RBI has never fined it. For a salaried borrower with a good score, the published rate range is on the low side for an unsecured loan. The fine print needs care, because Godrej's own pages disagree on almost every charge. The processing fee is up to 4% in the schedule of charges and the FAQs, but up to 2% on the charges page. The late penalty is 3% of the overdue EMI in one place and 2% in another. The FAQs say foreclosure is free for 3 months and 2% after that, while the schedule says up to 4%. Flexi Fund variants add a 2% yearly maintenance charge on the limit, used or not. So pick your variant on purpose, then read the Key Fact Statement line by line before you sign. Check the rate, APR, fee, foreclosure charge and the amount that will reach your bank. If anything differs from what you were told, don't accept.

Who Godrej Priority Money suits

Salaried people earning ₹50,000 or more a month with a CIBIL score of 700 or above
Borrowers who need a large loan, from ₹1 lakh up to ₹60 lakh, over as long as 84 months
People who want to choose upfront between no processing fee, no foreclosure charge or a lower rate
Anyone comfortable finishing a video KYC online instead of visiting a branch

Look elsewhere if

You're self-employed: Godrej says this loan is only for salaried people for now
You need less than ₹1 lakh or earn under ₹50,000 a month
You want an app with public borrower reviews before you commit

Not sure the app is genuine? Is Godrej Priority Money real or fake? How to check it yourself

Things to Watch

  • Godrej's schedule of charges, FAQs and charges page give different fee, penalty and foreclosure figures
  • One FAQ calls a 3% monthly penalty 36% a year and another calls the same 3% a month 24% a year
  • Godrej lists Priority Money as a web journey only, so any app or APK offering it deserves suspicion
  • Sign-up consent lets Godrej Finance and its partners call, SMS and WhatsApp you even if you're on DND
  • Reward points can't be set against EMIs and may be forfeited if you foreclose

How to Apply for Godrej Priority Money

  1. 1

    Start on Godrej's own website

Open the personal loan page on the Godrej Capital or Godrej Finance website and use its Apply button. There is no app to install.

  2. 2

    Verify your mobile number

Enter the mobile number linked to your PAN and type the 6-digit code you receive. Read the consent text first: it covers marketing calls and data sharing.

  3. 3

    Finish KYC online

Keep your PAN, Aadhaar and a DigiLocker account ready, plus your physical PAN card for the video KYC.

  4. 4

Share income proof and pick a variant

Godrej checks income from a bank statement or an Account Aggregator. Then choose a term loan or Flexi Fund and a variant such as Zero Processing Fee or Zero Foreclosure.

  5. 5

Read the KFS before you accept

Check the rate, APR, fee, foreclosure charge and net amount in the Key Fact Statement, then set up the eNACH auto-debit for your EMIs.

Documents Required

PAN card (the physical card is shown during video KYC)
Aadhaar, verified through DigiLocker
Bank statement or Account Aggregator consent for the income check
A mobile number linked to your PAN

What Real Users Say

Checked on 4 November 2026. A Google Play search for the name shows only unrelated apps, including Money is Priority, an investment tracker from AW Prime Wealth that has nothing to do with Godrej.

Priority Money has no Google Play listing, so as of November 2026 there are no store ratings or dated borrower reviews to read.

What users love

We found no borrower reviews on a source we accept. Godrej's own pages stress no hidden charges, fixed rates and reward points, but that is the lender talking, not borrowers.

Common complaints

No borrower complaints could be checked on an accepted source. The risks we can see come from Godrej's own documents: charges that differ from page to page, and sign-up consent to marketing calls and messages.

How Godrej Priority Money Compares

vs Tata Capital — Another large NBFC lending big personal loans to salaried borrowers; compare its fee and foreclosure terms with your Godrej KFS.

vs Bajaj Finserv — A big NBFC with its own app and a long track record, worth a second quote for the same amount and tenure.

vs Poonawalla Fincorp — A regulated NBFC that also targets salaried borrowers with good credit, useful as a side-by-side offer.

How we tested

Checked in November 2026. On 4 November we read the Priority Money page, Godrej Capital's personal loan FAQs, Godrej Finance's schedule of charges, rate policy, digital lending partner list, grievance pages, privacy policy and fraud notice, and the sign-up screen of the application site. Godrej Finance is in RBI's NBFC list as on 30 September 2026. There's no Google Play app, so there are no store reviews to weigh. RBI's Digital Lending Apps directory didn't load, and we didn't apply or see a real KFS.

For a Priority Money personal loan, call Godrej Finance on 022-68815555 or email customercare@godrejcapital.com with your loan account number. The company doesn't call the line toll-free, and its pages list two sets of hours, so email leaves a clearer trail. No answer in 7 working days? Write to the Grievance Redressal Officer, then the Principal Nodal Officer after 15 working days, and RBI's Ombudsman after 30 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Godrej Priority Money safe and RBI registered?
Yes. Priority Money is a personal loan from Godrej Finance Limited, which appears in RBI's list of registered NBFCs as on 30 September 2026, in the Middle layer. Godrej Finance lends the money itself, and its own list of digital lending partners names Priority Money as a self-owned web journey. The company also declares that RBI has never levied a penalty on it.
What does a Godrej Priority Money loan really cost?
Godrej's FAQs quote 10.99% to 18% a year, fixed for the tenure, and a processing fee of up to 4% plus GST on a standard term loan, or nothing on the Zero Processing Fee variant. On ₹5,00,000 over 36 months at 18%, the EMI is about ₹18,076 and ₹4,76,400 reaches your bank after a 4% fee and GST. Your KFS shows the APR.
How much can I borrow from Godrej Priority Money, and for how long?
Godrej advertises ₹1 lakh to ₹60 lakh, repaid over 12 to 84 months. The amount you're offered depends on your income and credit profile. Term loans pay out once, while Flexi Fund variants let you draw from a limit and pay interest only on what you use, with a 2% yearly maintenance charge on the limit.
Who is eligible and what documents do I need?
You need to be salaried, aged 25 to 58, earning at least ₹50,000 a month, with a CIBIL score of 700 or more and at least one year of total work experience. Keep your PAN and Aadhaar ready, a DigiLocker account, your physical PAN card for the video KYC, and a bank statement or Account Aggregator consent.
What is the Godrej Priority Money customer care number?
Call Godrej Finance on 022-68815555 or email customercare@godrejcapital.com. The grievance page gives Monday to Sunday, 9 am to 6 pm. If you're not satisfied within 7 working days, write to Grievance Redressal Officer Ashpreet Kaur at grievance.redressal@godrejfinance.com, then Principal Nodal Officer Sonal Kumar after 15 working days. RBI's Ombudsman comes after 30 days.
Is there a Godrej Priority Money app on Google Play?
No. As of November 2026, Godrej Finance lists Priority Money as a self-owned web-based journey, and we found no Godrej Capital or Godrej Finance loan app on Google Play. You apply on the Godrej website with your PAN-linked mobile number. Treat any APK, app link or WhatsApp offer that claims to be Priority Money with suspicion, and check it with the company first.
How do I file a complaint against Godrej Priority Money?
Work the escalation ladder in order. First, raise the complaint with Godrej Priority Money support (customercare@godrejcapital.com) and insist on a written complaint reference number — a call with no reference number effectively did not happen. If it is unresolved, escalate to the grievance redressal officer at grievance.redressal@godrejfinance.com. The regulated entity has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can complain free of cost to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in — no lawyer is needed, and the decision is binding on the lender.
How do I stop harassment calls from Godrej Priority Money recovery agents?
RBI's rules on recovery conduct are specific: agents may not call before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m., may not use threats, abuse or intimidation, and may not contact people from your phonebook to shame you. Blanket access to your contacts and photos is prohibited for digital lenders. If this is happening, save the evidence — call logs, screenshots, recordings — and complain to the lender's grievance officer (grievance.redressal@godrejfinance.com), then to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in if it continues. If the app is not a regulated entity at all, report it on the RBI Sachet portal (sachet.rbi.org.in) and to the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Harassment, morphed images and contact-list shaming are criminal offences regardless of whether you owe money.
